Kellie is a bit loud, thats her personality - but I don't think she deserves the character assasination she gets on here at times - so bitchy!

I understand she might not be everyones cup of tea, but shes not evil. I've seen her be really supportive to other celebs and genuinely happy when they do well. She works her socks off and tries her best. I can understand how her loudness and enthusiasm could get irritating and how she'll lose votes because of it... but at least shes enjoying the show and doesn't really deserve the insults.

I actually don't like running steps in quickstep even when performed by top level dancers, but given that most quicksteps seems to have them nowadays, I thought they did them well and deserved their marks. It was a bit repetitive though.

I do agree that her back and shoulder line are a bit tense and stiff. I don't think it stops her from being a dancer though. It is just something she needs to improve. Difficult because it is one of the first things affected by nerves. As I say, I don't think she is as confident as people seem to think.”

If she is not confident then she is a far far better actor than I thought she was

I'm again the odd one out here, but I like Kellie and Kevin. She's one of the best dancers this year, and I don't get the amount of dislike she gets here.

they were over marked... her time is running out..

pleased with the result this week, I know it wasn't his best but he can smash it when he needs too.

You'd have thought shapeshifting was a good thing in dancers on Strictly?

From being a Kevinaphobic at the start of the series, his partnership with Kellie has converted me. For once I'm looking forward to their routines as well as G+G's, and hopefully now he seems back on form, Jay and Aliona. For me, this is a great series already, and Kellie (especially her last two dances) has been a big part of it.

It's a mix of looking haggard beyond her years, hardfaced, squealing like a stuck pig on acid and playing up to the cameras when she is with the other contestants and looking miserable and nonplussed when the camera isn't on her - and thinking she has God's gift as a partner. A grown man who arses about with light sabres says it all ”

Haha, thanks!

She's a good dancer. I'm not a trained dancer/teacher but from a lay point of view her technique seems to be better than all the other women left bar Helen maybe, but the way she's coming across grates on me a bit. However, I think commenting that she looks old, ugly, that her dresses are horrible, that's not on, sorry; it's a bit mean (but this is DS, so hey ho...).

You're right, in theory it should be possible, but in practice, it seems not.

The only place you are likely to find grown up attitudes is in the ballroom and latin dance questions thread, where people who actually know what they are talking about post.

I feel then same. She's a wonderfully strong, neat and suberbly competent dancer. She could relax her upper body more, but she's very, very good.

And they're partnership is easy and Kevin has taught her extremely well it appears to me.

It's certainly something I have noticed .I now watch how often it happens when it's Claudia's slot...last night both Kevin and his sister managed to always be on screen...and the sister is not in the competition lol

Personally, I think she's consistently one of the cleanest contestants this series I don't think she deserves all the slack she gets.

They were given the least suitable song last night I thought, but that said, for me there was not enough variety in the content of their QS. Despite the gapping I would have swapped her and Jamelia over in the placings. Not her fault and she is good, but just my view,

I find the pair intensely irritating but honestly didn't notice that they were pushy last night. I really enjoyed the Clifton trip down memory lane. That poor man(Mr Clifton) in the shots when he was younger. Why on earth did he wear such dreadful toupee? If he had an arrow on top of his head pointing to it with the word SYRUP! in sparkles it couldn't have stood out more. Best laugh we had in our front room that night

Since last week's bizarre samba, which I've become addicted to re-viewing ... I've started to warm to Kellie and I enjoyed her QS very much. In fact it was my favourite dance from last night. I think Kevin has choreographed four (if we include Frankie's show dance) very good QS for SCD.

I'm not a fan of K&K but I did think they danced well last night, I thought she was slightly overmarked can't remember her exact scores but overall on the leader board I would have had her just below Jay.

I don't know about you, but I thought he and his wife look better now than they did back then. They are both very elegant and have managed to combine a career with raising 2 OK children

They do indeed .
I think kellie is fantastic and had she been garbed more aptly her dances would have looked miles better . Kevin works her hard and gets great results and then wardrobe just poop all over her . It makes me so cross . I've not seen georgia, helen, jamelia, katie or anita in anything as remotely hideous as the horrors foisted on kellie . Poor woman .
Her qs was near perfect and deserved a higher score imo .

Oh God! That dress is horrific. FGS wardrobe need to spend less time on Georgia and Anita and more time on Kellie. She deserves one nice dress at least!! Make up too.
It's quite something when a woman looks better on Eastenders than she does on Strictly!
Sort it out!!!

As the OP, can I point out that none of my comments were personal. The choreography was in my opinion dull, with far too much reliance on trotting sequences to cover the floor. I certainly did not feel that it had the sparkle and variety of steps that I would expect to see in QS at this stage. That must be down to the pro dancer and not the celeb. I think she could have coped with more ambitious choreography. The comment about K's dress were a criticism of wardrobe. I don't see why you feel that that implied any fault on the part of the dancer (unless of course she made her own dress!)

I still feel that they were over marked for that particular dance. That is neither nasty nor personal. From my post, I cannot see how you are able to decide if K and K are my favourites or not.

I liked her QS. It is the only dance of hers that I have liked. Tbh though, there wasn't much competition this week. None of them wowed me.

Lol, well done! . I must admit I noticed Ola, Natalie and Brendan far more than any Cliftons (or Kellie) and that is not to criticise the former; they have every right to be there. Just more that some people seem to be absolutely determined to torture themselves by seeking out Joanne and Kevin in every scene.
