My 5 points precisely!! Could repeat them in French for you, but result of great minds thinking alike still the same. Plus I enjoyed this year's Blackpool show more than previous shows at the same illustrious venue.

1. Anita and Katie are my favourites. They're not as polished as some of the others but I don't care. They make up for that in terms of watchability.

2. Wasn't convinced by Georgia. The song, the dance, it all felt too 'grown-up' for her. Curious 10s.

3. At last I thought, they're finally criticising Peter.....and then up went two 8 paddles!

4. I thought Jay passed the Salsa test.

5. Yearned for the return of Erin tonight.

1. A good show Lots of great dancing and much less theming.

2. Jay and Aliona- HOT, the body rolls and grinding were quite something. Could have done without the backing dancers though.

3. I thought Helen's Charleston would be better, it was kinda boring but well danced.

4. No idea what Peter was supposed to be dancing. Janette really should have choreographed more flicks and kicks- unless that was all he could manage...

5. Georgia's dance was cute and she looked lovely.

Sorry..Just realised I should have given five thoughts (I am clearly as good with numbers as the judges. So a cheeky five more..

Not overkeen on the backing dancers, it feels too DWTS to me and you can't help but be distracted by them.

Sometimes, just sometimes the random 'we're out of the competition but we're here for the party' eliminated dancers in Claudias bit annoy me. Not sure why..

Gleb is excellent at Paso. I already knew this (thankyouverymuch Youtube) he's a welcome addition to the team, look pretty good and I love his 'too cool for this' schtick because it's very entertaining, but if I could say one critical thing it's that he is not the most generous of choreographers. It's often all about Gleb.

I like how kind Tess is to the competitors.

Kellie has been really shafted by the wardrobe dept.

1 I didn't like Anita's paso face – she just looked miserable and terrified to me and her dancing seemed awkward.

2 Peter did what he was told to do just fine, imo – but who choreographed that sh!te? I don't think it was Janette. (I think with these multi-couple dances they have more choreographic interference than usual)

3 Tristan looked so crestfallen when Bruno criticized Jamelia's top line, and Craig's comments were just cruel and Jamelia looked really hurt then - made me so sad ;(

4 Georgia didn't do much imo - but with the other couples dancing along with them, it was hard to tell.

5 These production numbers are the worst of DWTS brought over the pond. It confuses viewers about who's actually doing what, and the praise/scores are often based on the overall razzmatazz and not the dancing.

1) I hope Tess has sky + last nights strictly and can use last night as a platform on how to present...much better

2) Jay was undermarked...but I really think from next week he is gonna start owning the show (if he gets through)

3) Helen bores me and I can't see her lasting too long now

4) Georgia...find her very gracious and modest makes her very likeable

5) Missed Jeremy

Craig was unnecessarily unpleasant to Jamelia and she was visibly upset by it.

Gleb really is all about Gleb, not just during the dance but after it too. Still, I enjoyed the dance and I'm not going to penalise Anita because of gleb.

Georgia's dance was great and she looked amazing, Giovanni has done some excellent choreography during the series.

Kellie's dance was really good, but I still can't warm too her.

Janette really should have been taken to task for the lack of jive choreography, it was almost unrecognisable.

1. So glad for Jamelia, her best dance yet. Hopefully enough to keep her out of the DDO

1. Even though I really enjoyed most of the dances (see below for proviso), I prefer the studio based shows. Blackpool seems to bring out the worst in the judges.

2. Not a dancer, but nothing Peter and Janette did looked a whole lot like any of the jive steps I've seen other couples doing. As an ignoramus, it looked stompy and lacklustre and not all the spotlights in the world was going to save it.

3. Kellie doesn't look as if she has an odd body shape, but yet again ended up in a "meh" outfit. Still, I suppose that's better than the rags and mismatching she's had in the last two weeks. Poor woman. It must be fairly terrible to stand in the dressing room seeing everyone else look awesome.

4. Thought Craig was needlessly cruel in his comment to Jamelia especially when she'd just done what looked like her best dance.

5. Anita is wonderful, but that Paso was a triumph of style over substance.

1. Thought it was a poor show, the celebs seemed amateurish and desperate.
2. Jay and Aliona's salsa was laid back, sexy and some great tricks.
3. Helen George's Charleston was just weird. She looked ungainly, bandy-legged, and had some strange facial expressions.
4. Anita was over marked, her paso was predictable and jerky, there was nothing dramatic about it apart from the music.
5. Loved Georgia again, she's like a little diamond among the rough!

Scoring did seem a bit random....hard to see where anyone deserved that perfect 10

Was Helen injured ?

1 Really warming to Helen as a person as the weeks go on, if not her dancing

2 Beautiful AS from G & G - they do more than dance and perform well, they tell a story and emote it well. They blossomed on the dancefloor.

3 I know its unlikely that Kellie will get to the final as she doesn't have the support .. even though shes not my favourite, I do admire her hard work and enthusiasm - you can depend on her to pull a good routine out of the bag every week.

4 Not as bothered about Peter getting an 8 as others seem to be...its position that counts and hes bottom of the leaderboard and more than likely will be in the dance-off

5 Backing dancers often not necessary and actually detracted from the dance on occasions (especially G & G's when they were in hold). Not necessary to dance round them....even with the larger dancefloor it would have been more beautiful had they been on their own, with the dancers joining in for the out of hold

1. I HATE backing dancers. (I judged the routines based on the actual dancing though, not the backing dancers )
2. Georgia's American Smooth was beautiful and deserved at least 39.
3. Anita was SHAMEFULLY under marked, should have got at least 39.
4. I liked Katie and Anton's American Smooth, a shame about the minor mistakes.
5. It was a great show last night but the judges bias towards Peter clearly showed last night, there was no way it deserved as much as 29 points last night, 24 would have been fairer in my opinion.

What did Craig say to upset Jamelia?

1. Opening circus show of a number apart - best Blackpool ever in terms of the quality of the dances and appropriate music choices.

2. Peter - oh dear. Why does he keep reverting to type when he says that he takes the judges comments on board? Is it because he can't master the steps or because Janette can't resist the lure of a show dance or a mixture of the two

3. Anita at the top of the leaderboard for the first time and deservedly so based on the overall performance values.

4. The judges are more blatant than ever in their attempts to steer the competition in the direction the producers want it to go. At times it felt as though they were reading from a script rather than commenting on what they had just seen,

5. I know it's a big dance floor but filling it with supporting dancers rather than allowing a couple to exploit the space to the best of their ability is a bit hit and miss. Although maybe it looked better live - very poor camera work at times last night,

1. Something about Jay's dancing doesnt do it for me - his highlight was the jive but since then he has gone downhill

2. Peters jive was disappointing

3. Anita and Gleb were fabulous

4. Katie and Anton danced beautifully

5. If Georgia and Giovanni don't win it will be a travesty

my 5 thoughts

1) the ridiculous over marking by the judges is now getting tedious and beyond a joke, routines littered with mistakes, timing issues, lack of content and technique and getting praised to the sky - the judges either need to ALL go to Specsavers or start marking routines fairly and accurately

2) Peter - what the heck was that because it certainly wasn't a jive! bottom of the leaderboard is where you belong

3) I utterly love Blackpool!

4) and Claudia

5) Gleb needs to stop making his routines all about him and concentrate more on Anita, her technique could be fabulous if he just gave it the time

Kellyis a really good dancer but I just can't feel the wow factor.

Giovanni is gorgeous and a great dancer. He and Georgia look good together.

Love Antons ballroom. Shame he ever has to do a Latin dance.

I think Jay is the best celeb dancer and was brill last night, but still needs to give it a bit more razzle dazzle. I voted for him though as always look forward to seeing him dance.

Helens Charleston looked more like a tap dance number.


P.s I live just outside Blackpool and thought they made it look quite good. Can't fix the weather though!!!

1. Peter finally at the bottom of the leaderboard - whatever he was dancing it most certainly wasn't a jive!

2. I much preferred Katie and Anton's AS to Georgia and Giovanni's and thought they deserved a couple more marks - and great to see Erin in their VT - I've missed her!

3. Anita should have been top of the leaderboard

4. Jamelia's best dance - Craig was an absolute pig to her.

5. Did Helen injure herself right at the beginning of that routine?

Thanks for starting the thread this week.

1) Found Giovanni funny in the VT with his singing and I now love his and Georgia's dancing and partnership.
2) Kellie and Kevin were more bearable and it's the first dance that I've liked from them and she looked decent.
3) Helen was overmarked and I found it an odd Charleston - looked like she was putting her weight far too forward?
4) I wasn't blown away by Katie and think her VW was better but am a big supporter of her and Anton.
5) A final four of Anita, Georgia, Katie and Jay is what I'd like to see with a girl winning.

Extra: Given the number of replies in the spoiler thread, I am guessing it's a shock elimination - maybe Jamelia v Peter with him going!?
