Yep, agree with those who found it hard to choose between Anita & Gleb and Georgia & Giovanni, both of whom danced superbly.
Anita for pure drama and presence (I couldn't take my eyes off her, even with Gleb's chesticles on display), or Georgia for gorgeous armography, lyricism and sheer emotion. In the end sentimentality and the tear in my eye did it - Georgia got my vote in this poll and on the night.
On the Jay thing - he did receive a lot of flack early on for being a ringer. I did love his progress up to that jive - the jive being the best I have ever seen a celebrity dance on UK SCD (even though there are a few that say there were some technical issues with it).
Then he wasn't able to repeat that level of performance but by then a significant number of viewers / commentators have completely become smitten with him ... and it no longer matters what the other celebrities do, their efforts and progress ... nor does it matter how "badly" Jay does because of that Jive and the potential of Jay ... and so forth.
The only thing I see is that maybe the focus on Jay's potential and technical ability out of hold ... has perhaps caused some to overlook the tremendous progress and efforts other celebrities have made to a point where I think for some aspects of performance dance they surpass Jay.

No - for all the Jay fanatics to use every time he passes wind - because it will, obviously be done in such a way that no other human being on God's green earth could possibly better it...
