I genuinely preferred Jay & Aliona this week. With Anita & Gleb a very close second.

Last week it was Georgia & Giovanni.

Jay has been my favourite up until last week and now I think I prefer Georgia. She really lives the dance. She and Giovanni look like a couple too whereas I get a bit put off by Aliona and her weird hair colour.

Agree...its more than just dance and performance (which they have) its the story telling brought out by the choreography and their connection, they are in sync and feel the dance. Always draws me in.

I agree. That was a 10 for me, streets ahead of anyone else last night.

Their dance had bags of the sensual fluidity required for a salsa and flawless lifts with good transitions.
It was technically excellent and brought a real party feeling.

Jay & Aliona just shaded it for me this week simply because not only was his technique as superb as ever, but he spent most of the dance with a smile on his face.

Anita & Gleb only just shaded out by a lack of steps in hold and Georgia & Giovanni's VW elements of their American Smooth were simply gorgeous but I felt their lifts were a bit meh.

i have a feeling that Jay could sit in the middle of the floor and some people on this forum would vote for him.....

Sorry but im not ashamed of voting for Jay he is my favourite and I havent voted him every as my favourite every week.

It can be interesting to see who comes 2nd and 3rd though and compare it to previous weeks

I love Jay, think he could win, with a bit more confidence and facial expressions. However my favourite by far this weekend was Anita and Gleb, brilliant routine performed even more brilliantly.

I was Team Jay early on mainly cause I love Aliona but I must say Anita and Gleb are really doing it for me recently. Rooting for Anita now.
