It's beyond obvious that their a joke/children's act who at most mimic elements of the Afrobeats style in order to spice up their rendition of 'Teletubbies' or whatever it is they're singing any particularly week, but to hear people claim they can tap into a young contemporary audience who are into Afrobeats music is an absolute joke.

There's nothing remotely modern or appealing to anyone over 8 about them at all. They're Timmy Mallet in baseball hats.

I wouldn't go that far, but they aren't really doing afrobeats music at all. One can sing a bit, the littler guy, hes tone deaf. Their success is not because they are talented, its because they are happy and smiling in a sea of absolutely miserable sods, several of whom are not actually that much better vocalists themselves despite the wailing.

Reggie and Bollie are not great, they are still better than at least 3 of the others though.

the others are boring and last night in particular they all looked miserable accept for reggie and bollie.
they seem the 2 that most want to be there and are having fun.
they are the only act worth watching - the others we have all seen before.

at the end of the day they arent the best singers but they are harmless. fun , the nicest contenstants on there and they seem happy to be there. they dont put me to sleep like the others.

I don't know why they are hyping them I really find them boring.

well said. I enjoyed them.. Much better than the other boring samey samey acts

i love them. they are a nice opposite to the show which takes itself too seriously as they don't at all.
