no I hated it . But not a fan of a rumba anyway . This super fan was so zealous !! No one got away with anything less than adoration . Never came across it in anyone over 16 or so !! This was a 50 ish woman with frightful crush

I remember the BBC board, that's where I was first. It was so vicious they couldn't leave it open at night, they had to have active moderation going on. Then they closed it completely, and opened a blog, that's why I ended up here after lurking for a couple of years for the spoilers.

I'd quite like to be in a coven, but I keep coming over all reasonable. It doesn't help that I like all bar one of the remaining celebs this year. I've got a black witch's cat though, if that's any help. And I was quite 'meh' about Abbey.

I agree. There was a cohort in the Abbey year. I got targetted by a poster. A Johnny come lately who was banned withing a couple of hundred posts. S/he followed me around the boards even into the dance geek threads remonstrating because I had the audacity to say Abbey's salsa was peculiarly free of salsa even by the low threashold of SCD. I wasn't even critiscing her only commenting on the dance.

I have posted less this year because the focus seems so much on the personalities and not on the dance. I couldn't care less if Peter is a liar, or Jay is a darling, or Jamelai hates fat people or whatever nonsense is in the press. It feels to me the boards this year have become a space to discuss the cult of personality with a bare reference to dance.

When it closed most of the posters there migrated here I suppose, that's what happened to me at least.

A brief glance at the forum when I come hunting for the spoiler has usually been enough to remind me why I've barely bothered posting all series - the same mass vitriol against Peter Andre, cries of "undermarked" for Jay and complaints about how twee and wholesome Kellie and Kevin are gets irritating really quickly...never mind the ridiculously early nature of the spoiler thread and its time guessing games.

The forum used to be a lot more about dance and the contestants' training than about the tabloid press, but given ITT has gone the same way I guess I can't be too surprised...
