Rita and Cheryl - tension between the two?

They don't really have much of a friendly relationship, or if they do it doesn't come across on TV. It reminds me more of Sharon and Danni; they sit there shoulder to shoulder and don't really interact all that much at all.

Stirring the pot here but you wonder if there's a bit of tension between the two. New girl on the scene vs the (previous) golden girl. I dunno I've nothing to go on but what we see on camera and a hunch but it does seem as if the two of them don't have the warmest of relationships.

They seem to get on and like each other.

I see them regularly talk to each other, pass notes, laughing and they get on really well on Xtra Factor as well.

I don't understand why people love to over analyse the female judges relationships.

They're not constantly up eachothers arses, therefore they must not like eachother. Because if reality television has taught us anything, that's just how all relationships between two women work.

I don't think there is anything to suggest they don't get on. If you look at them when the camera is not directly on them they are usually chatting or one will touch the others arm or they have been hugging.I think they get on fine. Past female judges have not liked each other at all but that's not the case with these two.

I don't think they completely dislike each other at all.

I also don't think they'll be meeting up for dvd girlie nights on X Factor's completion!

I can see, purely from body language, there is a hint of something between them from Cheryl's body language. I have observed this on The Xtra Factor on Sunday mostly, which is less staged and more raw.

At the end of the day, Rita Ora is very current and successful in the music industry. She can also sing better than our Cheryl. Cheryl never has and never will have the kind of success Rita has and has had in the music industry. Topped with good looks and the fact she hasn't hugely failed as her first time as a judge this series, Cheryl would be one odd woman to not have a hint of jealousy.

Again, I do not think she despises her and they have a good professional relationship on the show.

I don't agree with that. I think Cheryl and Rita have a lot in common which is why they get on so well. I don't think there is any beef between them at all.

I also don't believe that Cheryl would be jealous of Rita, as ultimately Cheryl has had such a successful music career, with obviously all the success in Girls Aloud and her solo projects (million selling album and single). I think Cheryl would be a good person to even give Rita some tips to maybe not make similar mistakes.

LOL! I don't think Rita will be taking any tips from Cheryl

With all due respect, Rita is a worldwide star who is right at the centre of the music biz (worldwide). Cheryl is UK's sweetheart. She got her place in Girls Aloud through her loveable personality, not talent.

She is great as a judge and seems to have found her place there. Oh, and she's one heck of a dancer! I highly doubt she'd be able to offer Rita any music tips.

Rita Ora is not a worldwide star. If she were she would not be a judge on the X Factor.

She has always been, and will always be a pound shop Rihanna.

Whilst I agree with the pound shop Rihana tag, there's no denying she's a worldwide star.

Cheryl has had more success than Rita. Girls Aloud sold millions and set records, but Cheryl as a solo artist has a million selling single and album, 5 number one singles and other minor chart hits and album chartings plus Fight For This Love was big across Europe.

Rita has 4 number one singles in the UK but worldwide she isn't a star. She's been promoted and pushed by Jay-Z for years and yet in America she's failed to break the Hot 100 on multiple occasions. I think one single of hers went to like #77 in the US and that was it. Across Europe she's barely had any success either.

Rita Ora is not a worldwide star.

Rita is marketed as a worldwide star, but she really doesn't have much to back that up.

Totally disagree that Cheryl Cole has had more musical success than Rita. Girls Aloud formed 13 years ago! Rita has been around for a few. In that time she's performed and been nominated in huge award shows (VMA'S to name one), has performed on American tv shows and if you even have a look at the awards she has been nominated for alone when compared with our Cheryl, that pretty much sums it up.

I'm not getting into a back and forth spat over it either and all of Rita's world chart success. Maybe "success" is the wrong word, what I mean is, as an "artist", Cheryl is not close to being on the same league as Rita.

Rita is no Rihanna by any means in term of success and fame. She just recently performed in Berlin with Madonna. I highly doubt Cheryl is on Madge's hit list. Plus, Rita has actually only had 1 album.

Let's be honest, the "mentoring" all the judges do is limited.

I'm just saying she has held her own this year on the judging panel.

I must come across as a die hard Rita Ora fan, which by the way, I'm most definitely not! LOL!
