I got quite teary eyed when I saw the bit at the beginning when Clara said, "One day you meet the Doctor. And of course, it's the best day ever. (chuckles) It's just the best day of your life. Because, he's brilliant, and funny, and mad. And best of all, really needs you."



Just been looking back over the greatest moments of Clara Oswald on YouTube. Saw The Eleventh Doctor's first meeting with modern Clara. Saw the mini-episode 'Clara and the Tardis', and saw the scene in 'The Name of the Doctor', in which Clara and Eleven hugged, with him saying "My Clara. You're my Clara."

So sad!

Makes me realise how much I miss Matt Smith's Doctor after seeing that.

Not that I'm not enjoying Capaldi, it just took me a while to warm to him, with Smith it was instant.

Ditto. He just has amazing warmth which 12 (who is much more detached) doesn't.

Makes me remember how much I enjoyed 11 and Clara too. Shame we didn't get another series with them.

You were not supposed to warm to PC's doc right away, that was the point lol

She had great moment with both docs.

Really? I always thought it was important to like the main character of the show and although I think PC is a fine actor he doesn't come across as likeable in the same way that Matt did.

I know some people aren't too keen on Clara or Jenna but for me she's been a great companion for the Doctor and wonderful actress respectively.

Good luck to Jenna I say. I wonder if she'll ever return to the show? As a 'splinter' perhaps, that might be cool and heartbreaking all at once.

That video did make me miss Matt too. I think Peter's bloody brilliant in the role too though.
