One of the best dancers/ choreographers SCD has had?

Maybe some think its too early to say, and perhaps I am a bit biased...but so far I have been so impressed with his choreography.

Lovely touches and great storytelling in every routine and imo he manages to get the feel and character of a dance spot on....the cheekiness in their jive, romance in their waltz, cuteness in the quickstep, hotness in their samba - and the rumba (although criticised for content) was one of the most sensual I've seen. Of course it helps that hes got such a great partner who can dance and perform it so well, but his routines are gorgeous and so watchable.

Absolutely agree with you. Also, I love the way he allows Georgia to be the focal point of the dances, often by leaving the centre stage himself - that was very much in evidence in last nights AS VW.

Well you know how I feel HD Absolutely love him. His choreography, dancing and overall persona are all fabulous. He's a superb addition to the show and they would be crazy not to hang on to him!

He realises the partnership is not all about the pro unlike some of the others.

I went off strictly for ages, but Giovanni and Georgia have brought the sparkle back for me, Giovanni is wonderful.....

Too early to say. We'd need to see how he copes with a less able or a less mobile partner. Hoping he returns next year... But I love his partnership with Georgia. There seems a proper connection between them that we've seen in lots of different styles of dance now. I'm probably dopey hearted but I'm always charmed by them a little.

The singing though... 😖😬

Gio has quickly become one of my favourite pros.

agree he's a good addition to the show, i wasn't sure at first but over the weeks he's really shown that he's a good teacher and choreographer as well as dancer

Giovanni is a great addition to the show and for once not recruited via BTF a well trained (comes from Diablo Academy, Bologna like Jo Clifton) dancer great at latin good standard ballroom.

More dancers like this please

He is certainly growing on me after a poor start when the producers attempted to shoe-horn him into being a Primark Vincenzo

I like him he is the best newbie much better than Gleb.

Obviously I'm biased but I love him! As it's been mentioned, he always put Georgia first, he understands it's about her, not him. His choreography is very clever and innovative and he also seems to be a good teacher judging by the training videos and little snippets he tweets like the time he posted a video of Georgia practising heel leads.

I went online and found a couple of videos of him and his partner competing at international level and they were brilliant! He's got a good sense of humour and seems to be in awe and humbled to take part in the show, he said it was a dream come true.

I think Giovanni is a great addition to the show. He is a great dancer, teacher and choreographer, and seems to have the outgoing personality needed for a show like this.

I preferred Giovanni from the start when all the Gleb love was going on. Think he's gorgeous and a fantastic dancer with a great sense of humour.

I like him a lot too. I think team GG will win it.

Len being a crotchety old sod towards him has probably helped his focus.

Of course, I agree with everything you've said, especially the bib my problem is that I only look at him dancing, then have to watch the dance again .... several times .... to see what Georgia is doing, love Giovanni, and his accent ..... Team GG to win

I wasn't sure at first, hated his intro on the launch show where he seemed a bit full of himself, but I love him now, great sense of humour, lovely partnership with Georgia and fantastic choreography. Great addition to the show.

"Primark Vincenzo" - thats hilarious and very accurate.
He's growing on me, too. Nice guy and great dancer. I find his coreography rather forgettable, though.

I do not think they will win it.....most probably second.

This is very true, and it is why I dislike Gleb so much.

I'm another convert to Giovanni, although love the Gleb eye candy too. Giovanni is a fabulous choreographer, his dances are just perfect with the music given ( even with the terrible ones). I really love Jay and Aliona but would not mind if G and G won it.
