No I wasn't fond of the colour - it was a bit the same colour as
Previous week

No, I'm not a Jay fan (mainly because of Aliona(Anita or Katie ideally for me- yay underdogs!)) I just identify Georgia as overmarked when she makes visible mistakes or spends 1/3rd of routines not dancing!

It has to be said - that is a good comeback.

Yes I like Giovanni. He and Georgia haven't really played many cards yet apart from his family Skype from Sicily. She hasn't even described him as a big brother. At the moment I think she'll win.

I thought you had already taught all the lessons, is there any more left in the course?

Oh, I hope you're right! They got a really warm reception in Blackpool for a dance that isn't one of the big show-stoppers (like Charleston). I was surprised by that warmth. Impossible to say if that was just one of those northern things (Bury/Blackpool) or if the audience was really drawn into the dance.

Struggling to breathe at the moment.

Just because somebody doesn't like your favourite doesn't make their opinion any less valid, or automatically a fan of the most direct competitor, supposedly, to your said favourite. If you're having to resort to half baked one liners in some vain and desperate attempt to make your ridiculous standpoint based on nothing but your own delusional belief that anyone who doesn't think Georgia is Ginger Rodgers reincarnate is somehow wrong simply on your sayso, then clearly there's very little point in trying to have any sort of intelligent debate with you.

I am a Jay fan but actually like Giovanni - he has a good sense of humour - I prefer him to Gleb who yes is good looking but flaunting it big time

I think most of the younger pros flaunt it. Even Anton flaunts himself ironically almost on the cusp of being 50. The only one I think has sobered down a bit is Brendan, but certainly in his run with Sophie he was giving it as good as he got, but recently, not so much. In terms of the two newbies, I certainly prefer Gleb's choreography to Giovanni's...

At least I can come back with one liners. All you did in the whole of your paragraph is to produce enough hot air to fly a balloon.

Yeah Their Strictly manufactured story-line has been somewhat dampened and subdued, possibly by the presence of an inconvenient boyfriend of Georgias, Still, there's time, although I doubt that a 'strictly curse strikes' headline would help Georgia, so hopefully not.

They could add it to those stories of

The plucky no nonsense Northern woman who finds her mojo and sexuality through the power of dance! and a gorgeous pro teacher. Nobody puts Anita in a corner!

And the delightful perfect woman who has been heaven sent to give Anton what he has needed and yearned for for years.

Or the shy attractive geeky lad who is really a sex god in the making. All it takes is one foxy older woman to unmask it.

These are all great movie scripts..or my imagination has been working overtime again..

And you still haven't answered a single point in my posts. I pointed out Georgia's Samba spent 30 seconds with her sat doing nothing, and all you could do is go on the attack. You're just trying to pop everybody else's balloon whilst yours isn't even in the air yet.

50 Sambas of Grey really is picking up pace with the final 7...

I'd say that the thirty seconds of stillness were just enough to make the audience worried and go off-balance and them BAMM! Vo-lareeeeeeee... Gio and Geo burst across the floor while Trev and co strummed like maniacs. The impact was bought by those thirty seconds. And then the routine was so fast. For me, that is knowing what to do with stillness and movement and energy

Had you made reasonable points, I would answer then. Because it's quite difficult to answer to a "point" so devoid of reason.

No, I see what you mean, but the value of stillness is in a passionate Rumba or Tango etc, to hold that moment the movement created, extend it, then BAM into the next section of movement. Or, in the middle of something quick like a Samba or Cha Cha, go at 100mph, THEN slow it down, play with the audiences expectations.

30 seconds of nothing is just laziness. If they'd started like a house on fire, slowed it down (maybe with some Samba Walks or Voltas, i.e. basic Samba that isn't too hard for anybody to master) then he's using the importance of stillness vs energy. Not spending 30 seconds having a pina colada!

Re: Content of Samba- i.e. my original point. Which you covered with "must be a Jay fan and therefore isn't allowed an opinion because it's different to mine" which was just wrong throughout.

Oh, you didn't understand my last comment then. I'm sorry, but we're not allowed to do drawings here, otherwise I'd make a nice little graphic to explain it better and more clearly for you, but I'll try with words. Yes, I read your point and still think is devoid of reason.

*I just had confirmed my belief that some people really had an irony bypass*
