Why can't we have Robert opening up to someone like Andy's been doing. Why do so many characters sit down and express their feelings except Robert with Aaron or Diane or Vic

They're making such a big thing of Andy taking his ring off and all I feel is bitterness that Robert's still wearing his! If they don't make a big deal of Robert taking his ring off (if he ever does!) I won't be happy

I really don't buy Andy suddenly being in love with Bernice... *rolls eyes*

Loved Emma and James punching Cain!

Loved Cain and Aaron in the car

That might just be because she was mentioned in the spoilers though? The thing of Emma confirming Chas had PTSD to Diane/Doug. They (I presume RadioTimes?) might of mistaken that as her appearing.

I mean otherwise it doesn't make sense why Doug would apologise to Zak and not Chas? Zak AND Chas maybe, but just Zak?
Maybe but Robert and Emma are not mentioned in their description but Ryan and Gillian are in the cast list as well.

I think we might see her get a diagnosis, it's the kind of thing they have to really show after they've shown her stabbing someone.

I think tink is probably right and Robert offers to help at the pub so Doug and Aaron don't have to see each other.

Robert still has a job at Home Farm doesn't he? But obviously he's not been working there so doesn't really have a job to take up his time atm so therefore would be able to help out at the pub. Makes sense to me.

I really want that to be the offer now!

Would love if it was that but wouldn't it be typical if it turned out like HF week where we knew they were together but ED didn't show us. If you look at the Press Spoilers for the following week, I think Aaron and Robert could be in as they are very limited on the characters actually mentioned.

It is only right though that they make a deal out of Andy taking his ring off.It is different circumstances to Robert

I know and I understand that. It's just that Robert really should've taken his ring off by now, especially after Chrissie pressed on his bullet wound. He's said that he doesn't want her back so I really don't understand why he's still wearing it. The day he finally takes it off can't come soon enough for me

I can't wait for more Robron scenes in the future but the storyline they're doing with Chas is good enough to watch in the meantime. I feel terrible for everyone involved, it's just so complex.

Robert's wedding ring might just be continuity. Ryan is married so it's probably his wedding ring. I am still hopeful we will get a scene when Robron get back together where Robert makes a point of taking it off. I must admit it is weird Robert still having te ring on when he said he doesn't want her back. I hope they don't go back on that next week and the court stuff is to get back with Chrissie.

I don't think it's a continuity thing... I mean I'm pretty sure actors who are married in real life but not on the show would take theirs off. I just think Robert's keeping it on and might end up keeping it on until the divorce, if not sooner (if any sort of Robron reconciliation happens maybe?)

I agree I really think that Robert will remove his wedding ring when his divorce will be pronounced

Each soaps I watched they are doing all the time. So it doesn't bother me that he still wearing it. Well as long as another wedding ring replace it in a near future

It is a very personal thing when the right time to remove a wedding ring is,whether through divorce or bereavement so it doesn't bother me too much but hopefully it will be noted when he does remove it

Duncan has responded to someone who has asked about rumours that the Woolpack could be up for sale. He's responded that there could well be a change of ownership. He also said as regards our boys that's you'll have to wait & see what happens.

Maybe Gordon sees it advertised and puts in an offer. Aaron panics, teams up with Ross and tries to buy Diane's half.

I do think Gordon is going to buy Diane's share and this will be the light at the end of the tunnel for Chas but as we have been warned - not everything is as it seems to be. Think Aaron will try and get the money himself by teaming with Ross but that will go horribly wrong and he may discover that Ross shot Robert.
These are all my own thoughts and not spoilers by the way.

Weedle away Robert, weedle away!!! The sooner you're back in Aaron's life (and bed) the better! I'm holding out for a Xmas/NYE kiss. Do you think we'll get one???
Hopefully a little robron stocking filler on Xmas eve building up to the main present!

Why would Diane sell though? She'd have no home or job.

I said before that Aaron trying to get money for the pub would require a bank job, we're not talking a couple of grand here.

I think you mean a big 'stocking filler' .

Lucy is doing a good job with the recent Chas storyline-it's sad to see her character like this but interesting too.Far removed from the bolshy, feisty person Chas usually is

My thoughts exactly. It's so strange seeing Chas like that.

Is the rumoured robron one night stand supposed to happen before or after Christmas? I need to mark my calendar

I think because Robert hasn't had anyone for a decade to talk to. Getting used to having someone to talk to is probably strange for him. I think that was part of his attraction to Aaron. He could open up to Aaron in a way he can't to Vic or Diane for example.

He did try with Vic but felt uncomfortable talking about his sexuality and feelings.

The last time They kissed was on July 22nd. On the stairs, before the lodge drama

So it's been 4 months and 3 days for me and 4 days for you

This is agony.

I dunno about having the money to buy it for Chas but i don't think Gordon will be in any better position to run the pub than Diane....

Just a heads up, someone on Tumblr send an ask to someone saying they saw spoilers, which included "Diane sees a familiar face at the hospital" and "Diane and Chas make ammends". The first was for the 14th and the second was for the 15th.

That's the week Gordon is turning up isn't it? I think we might be looking at Gordon being ill, maybe with cancer?
