Excited for what's to come
I don't think it's that great that Emma will figure out what's wrong with Chas though-she is a nurse afterall. She will have to do more than that to convince me she is a decent person after the things she has done.Ok she deserves an apology for recent stuff but she's still a conniving woman

A few things:
1. There's a theory going about on Tumblr that when Chas knocks herself out next week, Robert might actually be there & she isn't just imagining it (we know Robert tells Andy to get revenge on the person who stabbed Diane). Could be the reason why he's happy to here the news that Chas has PTSD? I do think that theory won't come true anyway (well at least I hope not!) Robert though is fairly busy next week so not going to happen for me. 2. More likely the reason Robert's happy to hear about Chas' PTSD is because it gets Aaron off his back regarding the shooting. I do think however not only is he protecting Andy regarding the shooting, but also Aaron. I mean if Aaron finds out Andy was involved, what would Aaron do? If he blabs about Andy's involvement, then Andy's in trouble (even though there's no evidence whatsoever he was involved). If Aaron didn't blab, Andy would start asking questions as to why Aaron wouldn't say anything to the cops (Aaron would probably say because of Jack/Sarah, but of course it would be more to do with his guilt regarding his role in Katie's death). Then if Andy somehow worked that out, Aaron himself might be in more trouble (although considering Andy sees Aaron as a mate, what he's been through regarding Robert's shooting & he seems to be a forgive & forget guy), Andy would probably keep quiet. I mean, even if you admit to something, you obviously get away with it (e.g. Robert about Katie). And 3. Robert's offer to Aaron is most likely that he & Chas get away for a bit (hence why neither are probably in the week after). I mean it does get Aaron off his case for a bit, but I do hope Aaron sees it (if this is correct) that he sees genuine care from Robert about him & his mum (although I'm not hedging my bets) & this is the start (slowly but surely) of some sort of reconciliation. What I really, really, REALLY don't want to happen is for Chas to get help for her PTSD (with Aaron's support) in the week beginning 8th December (when we're expecting both to be off screen) & for her to be magically cured (as always seems to be the case with mental health issues), but sadly, I think this might be the case, especially as it'll probably turn out Chas is all ok, only for Gordon to arrive on the scene.

So what is the idea? That Robert offers to pay for Aaron and Chas to get away? For treatment? Just looks after the pub?
The problem i have with it is that it's unlikely it will be out the goodness of his heart, it will be some manipulation or benefit of himself, and so i'm quite concerned if it potentially earns him brownie points with Aaron. I don't want Aaron thawing towards him based on lies/manipulation/selfishness.. Also i see in an interview with Lucy that she says during the ep in the woods she see's various people from her past..i wonder if we could get a first glimpse of Gordon? I will like this story i think as it will show worried/concerned Aaron and that always pleases me, i guess as someone who's watched when Aaron really didn't that much care (or show it anyway) about Chas (or anyone really) it's just so lovely to see him being loving and caring for his mums wellbeing. |

You can punch holes in everything Robert does towards Aaron when you think about it, and most things have several potential meanings. It really depends how you want to look at things and how much you take that in your view of Robert and Robert's feelings towards Aaron. |

I hope they do the Chas PSTD story justice and not just have her magically ok like someone else said. That would just not be realistic at all. They don't do mental health well and it should be taken more seriously

Well it can be seen either way, I mean, it could be both, it doesn't have to be one or the other. Robert's protecting his brother is more important to him right now, so yeah, he's doing it for him but obviously suggesting Aaron go away with his mother doesn't hurt Aaron either, giving Aaron & Chas some space and getting the heat off Andy. Kind of a kill two birds with one stone thing going on. That's if this is the case, we haven't got much to go on with that theory. You can punch holes in everything Robert does towards Aaron when you think about it, and most things have several potential meanings. I think Aaron will find out about Ross's involvement before Robert. Part of Robert's worry could be towards Aaron to protect him. After all he doesn't know who Andy got to shoot him, it could've been a professional hitman or thug for all he knows so he probably does't want Aaron digging in case he puts himself at risk.

I really don't think Robert's attention is on winning Aaron round. I think it's on his family, protecting Andy and keeping trouble away from Diane. Robert is doing what he should be focussing on his family and not on someone who claims to hate him.
Whether we agree with him protecting Andy or not it's what he's chosen to do so he's going to keep doing that until he has no other choice. I don't personally think he's trying to protect Aaron from doing anything stupid or reckless like attacking Doug and getting arrested for example. I think that's just what gives him an excuse. |

Aaron is in today, Wednesday and Thursday. Robert's only mentioned for Thursday. Although like last night, it doesn't mean they don't appear.
Mind you, maybe it's best to keep it what with this Aaron/Ross stuff coming up

I kinda wish Robert would stop protecting Andy and Chrissie because I want it to be all about Aaron for him
but at the same time I like him protecting them because he's doing the right thing and he is redeeming himself. I'm with Aaron though I'd be suspicious of everything Robert does and know there has to be a catch. If Robert does offer him money to go away I can't see him taking it tbh. Also I don't think Aaron would trust Robert to run the pub in Chas' absence with him being Diane's stepson. Maybe Aaron turns him down but does think its a good idea for them to get away and asks for Cain's help instead. Either way Robert's happy because Aaron is out of the way.

![]() Also shows that they're writing Summer stuff already, so Kate's work is definitely well into next year. Decide if that's good or not for yourself ![]() Quote:
who is that lady? is it good news for more Robron stuff?
It doesn't mean anything more for Robron than any other character. |

Weird that she has left the Eastenders team.

I wouldn't think it will affect Robron. |

So WC 7th December then? There's no hint of that in the press centre spoilers if so.
Poached rather than left judging from how coy she was being. She's the one who comes on TV and gives 'exclusive' soap gossip which we already know because of websites and magazines. I wouldn't think it will affect Robron.

I remembered her interviewing the ED cast and spending time asking what they thought of Corrie and Eastenders.

No I expect they mean the following week as their spoilers are for next week so it will be two weeks after week ending 4th December.

TV Choice Spoilers (thanks to kellysbarlastfriday on Tumblr):
Monday: Aware his testimony could sway the jury in Chrissie's favour, Lachlan asks Robert for help - but when push comes to shove, just what will his stepdad say in front of the judge? Tuesday: Terrified for her life, Chas flees from the gruesome apparition before her - but trips and knocks herself unconscious in the freezing woods. Will she survive? Wednesday: Tensions reach breaking point at The Woolpack when Doug casts doubt on Chas's diagnosis, giving Robert an opportunity of wheedling his way back into Aaron's life. Thursday & Friday: No Robron related spoilers |
