So Aaron wants them all to know
Now, that Chas, Cain and Robert know, he's reported it to the police, he knows he can't keep it secret. They'll ask question about why the police is around or why his acting weird (At least Adam will ask that), so it might be easier for him if the just knew.
Understandable reaction from my point of view.

Well he knows he can't keep it secret from the family and people close to him. Too many things will be happening and too many people acting oddly. It makes sense that he'd want them to just know and that be it. No questions and suspicions.
It was gonna happen either way whether he liked it or not, after I told my close family what had happened to me I never really got confirmation that they told the rest of the family but everyone gave me sad looks when they saw me for the couple of weeks and it made things very awkward, so I guess everyone finds out one way or another when something like that happens.

Is anyone finding it quite inappropriate one of the other main stories in this ep is basically about sex when they are also dealing with a child sex abuse story....

Yeah, I usually defend other people's storylines but Nikhill and Leyla's storyline wasn't appropriate for today's ep at all.

I love how much Adam seems to love Aaron, that's a true unabashed friendship between two lads.

I'm not watching that Gordon scene, I'm just not. I want to punch him so hard.

Grrrrr I just want to smash Gordon's face in...

Awww I loved that hug that Adam gave Aaron......although would have preferred it to be Robert......speaking off.......that was a nice little scene with him and Adam.....shame it wasn't longer.

Have I missed something - since when Jimmy and Nicola work at the scrapyard (I know they had to give Eric a percentage as he was kicking off about it being near his house) but when did Jimmy start to do the Haulage company there?

I mean did they REALLY think Aaron would want some sort of "well done for admitting you were sexually abused' party at the pub? Them all lined up to welcome him. AS IF anyone in that situation would want that kind of attention, especially Aaron who would hate it even under happy circumstances!

Gordon "It is twisted beyond belief"
Yeah, Gordon, all your lies.
Gordon sticking with his fake story.
Obviously, Gordon will not admit what he did to the police.

Adam/Aaron hug. I wish there was more scenes with them.. I have always loved their friendship.

All the Dingles supporting Aaron.

Finally this ep is finished, I hope they don't stretch this story line more than it needs to be because It's kinda hard to watch.

I'm quite surprised about how Cain, the toughest person in the dingle family, seems to by far the most affected member of the family by what's happening to Aaron, it's been a few days and you can see how much it affects him whenever Aaron is not looking at him, he seems even more distressed than Chas at times.

I think they're all gobsmacked by the situation and they didn't know what else to do, they all probably want to comfort Aaron despite them knowing how much he hates attention.

Yes. Hard episode to get through. Aaron seemed to want to do this for his mum. Danny Miller continues to be sublime. Loved the Adam and Aaron hug. Dingles all stood around the bar seeming to be waiting for Aaron to join them was always going to be too much for him. Gordon continues to be as manipulative as ever.

It was great to see the old Aaron/Adam bromance rekindled tonight.

Cain and Chas really annoyed me tonight - Why didn't Cain make a broadcast on local radio?.It was as though they were bullying him into going to the police, and then Cain seemed to assume the role of surrogate dad.

At least Adam could see that Robert hadn't betrayed Aaron's trust, and he confirmed to Aaron that Cain had told them, so hopefully that will inspire Aaron's trust.Adam was also the only one to show Aaron genuine affection tonight. I just hope he doesn't consider violence though, because I suspect it will be either Adam or Cain who will damage the criminal proceedings.

Picture previews are up for next week. Belle accuses Zak of not looking after Aaron in the past. Robert looks like he has had another haircut.

Thought the scenes between Aaron & Adam had far more meaning & believeability than any of the ones between Aaron & Robert

I know they aren't on the best of terms but the only thing i;d have liked to have seen more id more of Paddy's reaction. Literally even Marlon and Sam seemed to have more focus on them about it than Paddy did, which seemed odd given he's so close to Aaron and such a big part of his life and character.

Great episode! What Aaron went through going to the police and what he's going to go through in court is probably the worst thing I can imagine. It's really hammered home to me why people don't report it. Aaron could potentially go through the worst thing in his life and it might come to nothing
Aaron and Adam scene was lovely.
Adam being nice to Robert in a backhanded way
Why does Nicola care if Adam is at work.? She runs the haulage business.. Nothing to do with the scrapyard.
I agree Cain seems to have taken it the worse. Maybe his experience with Sadrach..he had it worse than Chas.. Although it wasn't sexual absuse it was emotional abuse he went through. Feels bad he never noticed it Aaron.
Want a Paddy/Aaron scene..can't believe Paddy is still with Tess at the end of this week after what he has just found out.

Obviously Chas announces it to the whole village then since Aaron knows that his family know. Do you think Chas might ask Robert to set Gordon up? She knows Robert is the type that can get away with that sort of thing.
