I definitely have a feeling we'll get something quite soon, even if it's just a kiss that Aaron stops or regrets but it will happen.

I don't believe for a minute that there completely put on the shelve to the point where there not even interacting what so ever, I just feel that what we seen last week was a build up to at least something soon otherwise what was the point, it surely won't be just left there after thursdays ep.

I really don't get why they go to such extremes like trying to keep things hidden like Robert confronting Ross and what happens etc yet at the same time release pictures for the following episode showing Ross trying to stop Debbie from leaving....

Well Robron might not be 'together' as such at the moment but both actors are filming at the studios today according to Twitter so I expect they will still interact.

I saw a pic of Danny at the studios today and his beard was a quite bushy and thick. You tend to know what sort of time Aaron is going to have on the show soon by the length of Danny's beard usually.

I don't think its the fact people think we have been led on, my intepretation of the posts were that people weren't pleased with the interviewer????

Strange as all the sites use the same interview I think they must be done in a press conference kind of style rather than a one on one interview situation.

Why are some people not happy with the interview ?

I've seen alot of stuff on tumbler with people saying that they feel disappointed that danny has said ED have shelved the SL & that basically were been lead on b/c the show have no plans for them & nothing will come of robron.

Daft really b/c I didn't take anything negative from it, danny actually seemed positive that robron will get back on track at some stage & that the show really like them as a couple.

I think people want to hear that there getting back together soon & that's just not realistic! Of course it's gonna be a slow burner but I do believe they will still interact, this upcoming hospital scene proves that although there not together there still in each others life's one way or another, some people on tumbler don't seem to see that.

Truly sad. I loved her as Rose before and it always amazed me how different she looked in ED.

I have been wondering how her passing will affect the show. Obviously they will have to acknowledge that Edna has died, have a funeral etc. But it should also affect Sandy, maybe change his mind about wanting to end his life (or the opposite, who knows). I hope there is some kind of impact at least.

I loved her in Keeping Up Appearances too.

I see,thanks.I didn't take anything negative from it either and thought Danny seemed certain that Robron will get together again.I think people must want to hear that they will be a proper couple wheras Danny didn't confirm that.He just said that they will most likely get togethe.I think though he doesn't know anything and can't say even if he does.I actually don't think they know whether to make them a proper couple soon or not.I think they might be afraid that if they do that then it will become boring

I know a lot of people seem down with Danny's interview and where it seems the sl is going just now but stay positive my friends.

Some of you probably know better how it all works but I'm sure that when actors do these interviews they have to follow the producers guide. It could be that it's now made to look all quiet on the Robron front so that we get a nice genuine surprise soon, like three ILYs in one go.

I think that many Robron fans are frustrated because the amazing storyline that was launched a year ago, together with the huge chemistry between the payers involved, has never been allowed to fully develop and to come to some logical conclusion.

It;s as if the Kate and the Emmerdale writers have led us all to the top of the hill and just left us there, half way through the journey that we were expecting to have and nothing likethe journey that we have been repeatedly teased to expect.

BIB: Emmerdale would be daft to think it would be boring to make them a proper couple. I could see their path forward being used to:

-explore Robert's sexuality
-make connections to events that occurred to Robert during his absence from Emmerdale (secrets revealed to Aaron purposely or accidentally)
-demonstrate Aaron's growth in terms of being in a relationship (presumably, he matured while off in France with Ed)
-explore the effect of the relationship on Aaron's other relationships (Chas, Gordon, Paddy, Adam and Vic)

With clever writing, Emmerdale could give us a proper gay couple navigating the ups and downs of living together, maybe getting married, having kids, etc. To my knowledge, this is territory rarely explored on a soap.

Really? Surely being shot and in a coma for a month is enough?

Yeah people definitely are expecting them to be a couple very soon & its not gonna happen yet. I'd actually hate to see Aaron just go back to robert without him earning it, he's hurt Aaron so much & put him through alot & that needs to be acknowledged. I do think something might happen soon which Aaron will regret or they at least get back on speaking terms but I'd like to see Robert doing the best he can to show Aaron he's trustworthy again & that he does really care. But rushing them back together is the worst unrealistic thing the show can do.

I'm looking forward to finding out what dannys big week was about & why he & robert was at the hospital, if this self harming SL is coming back hopefully robert is going to try & help him through that & just be there for him weather there romantically together or not.

I can get over him not knowing the character of Robert but it sounds like he doesn't even know his own character...

Robert's already had his comeuppance, Mike. It was what your maniac of a character did to him!

What show is he watching? Ross hanged his brother from a bridge, planned and tried to kill him several time, he convinced someone else to kill him and then went and shot another person just to get his brother killed....and that's just the latest stuff he's done.

Rob is no saint, but Ross is no "bad boy" either, he's a deranged thug.
