I bloody TAUGHT my child how to dance to Daft Punk. (okay, she has never mastered the greatness that is moi).
All the hipsters were looking at YouTube trying to figure it out. I am an offline Diva resource.
Do you think she never danced with her Mum Sid? Do you think she never went to parties where they were all doing it?”
Oh she probably joined in at Indian parties! Maybe even with her mum. We've all danced at weddings / parties / out clubbing though. I do consider that different to being
taught Bhangra or taking formal dance lessons or stage school. In Anita's VT (+ a piece I read before Strictly) she said she was very much a tomboy growing up, so I'm thinking her mum's dancing didn't hold much interest for her. It can sometimes be like that. I remember a girl in my class - her mum ran the local ballet school - but her daughter had no interest in it whatsoever (and there was all sorts of friction between her and her mum because of it - she was pushy and horrible).
