I know sod all about technique etc but I loved Anita's performance last night. I was pleasantly surprised when all the judges seemed to be falling over themselves to say how wonderful her performance was with no errors mentioned. At least one ten I thought but no ....all nines. What has she to do to get a ten. It must be a bit hard to take especially when you see what some tens are awarded for.

Nobody's a threat to Jay.

I don't know why people are still trying to fool themselves that we actually have a competition on our hands. The result has been obvious for quite some time now, come on.

I feel comforted.

nah, once they reach the later rounds where they have to learn and perform at least two individual routines per show, 25 year old young'uns like Georgia and jay will have a natural advantage over 38 year old Anita in terms of learning speed and stamina

All the hipsters were looking at YouTube trying to figure it out. I am an offline Diva resource.

Do you think she never danced with her Mum Sid? Do you think she never went to parties where they were all doing it?”

Oh she probably joined in at Indian parties! Maybe even with her mum. We've all danced at weddings / parties / out clubbing though. I do consider that different to being taught Bhangra or taking formal dance lessons or stage school. In Anita's VT (+ a piece I read before Strictly) she said she was very much a tomboy growing up, so I'm thinking her mum's dancing didn't hold much interest for her. It can sometimes be like that. I remember a girl in my class - her mum ran the local ballet school - but her daughter had no interest in it whatsoever (and there was all sorts of friction between her and her mum because of it - she was pushy and horrible).

Oh I think she loves it - but is new to it. Is discovering a new side to her. Like you though, I'm not bothered by past experience on the show - but you can see the ones who have it and those that don't pretty quickly from the lines they make, the way they point their feet, the suppleness of their backs, and the stage school ones have that distinct way of performing.
