Hi,

Can anyone suggest or recommend a third-party keyboard app for Android that is better than Google Keyboard and a better texting app that is better than the Samsung Massaging app?

For example, are there any messaging apps that have a option to include the *0# prefix at the start of a message?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure about the *0# prefix, but I've been using Swiftkey for years now and it works well

Textra is probably one of the best text message apps

Agree with SwiftKey.. As for messaging apps, GO SMS Pro is pretty good and allows for some customisation.

I thought Swiftkey as well, but then read that the OP needs to add a prefix at the beginning of messages - can Swiftkey do this?

I have used both swiftkey and swype. Both are good. I am currently using swiftkey. Since I dont text at all, maybe 3 or 4 texts a month, I just use the one that came with the phone. It does the job.

I like Swype. Find it odd now having to go back to tapping letters on other phones/tablets.
