Well, as we saw post end credits, Rigsy was allowed to leave the street memory intact so maybe they were contacted. Oswald isn't a common name. But how on earth would her death be explained? Good luck with that, graffiti man! And what happened to her body? Ermmmm......well, there another two episodes to come. Be a bit surprised if this wasn't addressed at all.

agree, I dont think it will be adressed, but its a pretty fair plot hole if it isnt.

Poor Rigsy left to deal with that by himself

I always imagined they were still sitting around with their Christmas dinner waiting for Clara to come back. The grandma we saw Clara talking to in Dark Water about Danny's death was obviously a Zygon/The Rani/Romana. I imagine Rigsy will just interrupt their Christmas dinner and tell them the truth, that she was drilled to death by a magic raven in Diagon Alley. They didn't seem the type to be easily surprised anyway.

Will he tell them about the skinny grey haired man in the velvet coat she was with?

No, that one's too difficult to explain I think.

Think they'd see that as a step up from the naked Swede with the quiff.

I don't think Clara's grandma seemed to mind. I thought the table was going to lift up on her side. :P

For better or for worse, Ashildr has supposedly been cleaning up after the Doctor for centuries. If not addressed I'll happily just accept that she or UNIT took care of everything...Clara has enough ties to allies (reluctant ones like Ashildr included) for them to not make a huge deal out of it.

And I don't think I need to see an actual funeral or anything, personally.

I don't remember Clara having family. Presumably they won't notice her absence.

Her Grandmother will probably notice her absense.

I did find it odd that the Doctor just left her body there on the street.

I'm guessing the raven got to eat Clara afterwards. It has to get something out of the deal.

God, me neither. I've cried enough

Odd? I find it disgusting! Absolutely ridiculous that the Doctor A just let her die and B just left her laying on the floor!

Oh no... that phrase. An unresolved story element isn't a plot-hole.

Come on fellas, do you really think it was better to end the episode on the dramatic note of the Doctor teleporting or some scene relating to Clara's family? Get real.

She did. Both her Grandmother (played by Sheila Reid from Vengeance on Varos), and her Father appeared in The Time of the Doctor. Her Mother is dead, according to various books that have been released recently.

It's a sci-fi show, not a bleeding soap opera. If you want family crap go watch Emmerdale.

Repeat after me: a plot hole is an inconsistency in the story.

Simply not showing something what happens after the on-screen part of a story is done is not a plot hole.

We were told and shown that her Mother was dead back in Series 7.
