I was carried away by Peter's lovely Jive. I've never seen such beautiful flicks and kicks, and the energy - WOW.

He is just amazing, he's a winner, I love him.

I think he put Jay's Jive, and even Jill's to SHAME.

I nearly FAINTED.

The perfection is hard to understand in my heart. But I feel it, I do.

I am grateful to have witnessed such wonderfullnessity.

And he loves his kids. He was thinking of them when he did it, obviously.
Hold on , don't worry I have booked you an urgent mental health appointment, you will be ok soon

But the thread is absolutely pointless. You know it, I know it and so does the whole forum.
Yes, I can see that is a huge problem on this rational, erudite forum. Heaven forbid we should have a little frivolous amusement.

Yes, but it's about Peter so Len and Bruno would still give it an 8...

You know, I never realised the number of threads that could be started on this forum was finite.

Yes people! Don't waste threads! Re-cycle them... oh.
Oh come on. Be honest now. Have you never objected to a pointless thread?

Jay did a jive that was at the top of the scoreboard and most people enjoyed immensely and was scored highly.

Peter did a jive that was at the bottom of the scoreboard. He freely admitted that he had struggled with it.

So how pointless can a question be?

I can't remember. I may have done. But I'm damn sure I've never said a thread was being "wasted" .

ETA: Yes, I remember now. I did question the point of a thread quite recently. But my second statement still stands .

You're right. It is a pointless thread. I just thought your choice of words was amusing .

What a waste of a thread just to have another go at Peter. Sad really.
I agree. It makes me despair of human nature.

I cried hard for several hours and then decided to devote the rest of my life to the divine art of the Jive.

( We laugh of course...but for Len there was only one point in it...)

Whereas I find that the banter and exchange of opinions on a frivolous entertainment show provide an escape from man's real inhumanity to man in Mali, Paris and many, many other places throughout the world.

Perspective and context ...

Just sayin' ....

I agree. One thing we Brits have always been very good at is finding humour as a way to get through.

With everything else that is happening in the world at the moment, I think laughing at low ranking celebs desperate for attention is very low down my list of things to get het up about.

This thread just made me sad that Peter Schmeichal never got to jive. I bet it would have been better than Pondray's. Then again Peter Shilton's probably would have been better...
Maybe we will see a Peter do a good Jive , Peter Crouch does a mean robotic version , and does some good kicks !!!

maybe , Abbey can get him to sign up in the future .
there is hope a peter can perform

thought about adding a poll , now that would of been pointless !

Pete should be done under the trades description act calling what he did a jive.

Perhaps a more interesting question is just what sort of reaction the two protagonists would have received had Jaypet been required to jive to Phil Spector at his overblown best, and it was Petey Boy who had been handed the Holy Grail of Pulp Fiction, theme and styling supplied by the very best that Hollywood has to offer and a Chuck Effing Berry, King of rock 'n' roll boogie, soundtrack to jive to.

.

Well it's not quite pointless as Jay did a Brilliant Jive and got 9's
Peter tried to jive and it was absolute s.... and got 8's that's a big point 😬

I think Aliona would still have choreographed more jive content. And Jay's kicks and flicks were much sharper than Peter's half-hearted attempt during the couple of seconds he was actually doing jive steps.
