Peter's never had an excellent dance IMO.
Charleston, but nothing else, although I liked that really fast waltz last week.

I still can't get how you can give 8s, which other dances are proud of, to a dance that simply doesn't meet the brief. Shockingly obvious they want a male to win

Jamelia should have gone out weeks ago. Peter had a bad week amongst excellent ones
This.

I don't really get all gnashing of teeth and I loathe Andre, Jamelia had a good run but I've seen enough of her lumpen clodhopping to last a lifetime.

Really? Gone out against who? Jamelia won all her dance-offs fair and square, so she deserved her place on the show. Peter danced bad and should have gone this week -- Disgraceful!

Peter was worse in the dance off than in the main performance.

I am appalled! He was absolutely terrible and didn't listen to any of the tips the judges gave him, kicks awful and hands unimproved.
Poor Jamelia, I've never witnessed a worse decision in the dance off. Len has gone way up in my estimation though,
in mine too

If anything Peter was worse in the dance off, Jamilia had gapping when dancing the first QS which she 95% corrected in the dance off. FARCICAL

Well done Len, it is a pity one of the 3 stooges didn't grow a pair and vote for the better dance.

OK I'll say it

OLA WAS 100% RIGHT IN WHAT SHE SAID ABOUT THE FIXING,

That was all the proof anyone needs
I don't believe it's fixed. I do believe the judges have free reign to change the 'rules' of the dance off based upon how much they like the two people there. They think Peter is a better dancer overall so they voted for him despite how he danced tonight. That's inconsistent and unfair. They might as well be asked 'who do you like the most?'

I think Len has been the fairest for a couple of weeks. I am appalled but the other's decisions and I am not Jamelia's biggest fan, by any stretch of the imagination.

It looked very, very bad all round. It's only a light entertainment show but that was grossly unfair and it leaves a bad taste.

Okay here's what I think. Whilst in most circumstances only the DO dances should he taken into account I don't blame the judges sometimes taking on other factors.

Firstly, how fair is it on Jamelia to keep hauling her back in every week just for her to be reminded that no matter how well she danced the public won't vote for her? Also, they were probably worried at this point of getting backlash for saving her for a fith time whilst a "favourite" had gone. Especially after the complete meltdown Pixie fans had last year.

Secondly, Peters "Jive" wasn't very good in both instances but he couldn't really improve that much without completely changing the whole cherography anyway which would have been impossible in the short time frame. So the DO was pretty pointless for him in that aspect.

I'm not saying I agree with them but I can understand why they made that descion based on those factors when they only had a few minutes after the DO to decide.

As for the whole standing ovation palaver we have one account of this and it could be possible this person has maybe not got the full story we only saw Peter's family stand in the end anyway.

At the end of the day it's a Saturday night tv show where the top prize is a plastic glitterball maybe it doesn't need to be taken so seriously.

The thing is, it was a total fix, so of course Len would say that when it no longer mattered.

They're not supposed to vote that way, and some decisions may have been borderline in the past, but this is a totally transparent case of FIX.

So Jamelia gets 31 on Saturday and Peter 29. Both bottom of the leader board so both in the dance off, fair enough.

But then Jamelia, if anything danced better whereas Peter danced far worse and yet they vote Peter through?!

On Saturday, Craig gave Jamelia a 7 and Darcy gave her an 8, while Peter got a 6 and a 7 ... so how could both Craig and Darcy say he was better in the dance off when they both said Jamelia was better on Saturday!!! He didn't dance better by any sense, and as has been stated here, Darcy holding her head in her hands at the end, and lets be fair even Craig sounded annoyed when he gave his vote tonight, says it all really.

Just how stupid do the BBC think the audience are? This has to be the most obvious fix on the DO I have ever seen, and there have been a few over the years.

It's still not a fix. The public vote still put him there - if they were making that up then it would be a fix. It's the judges allowing their bias to override what's fair. I don't believe they've been asked to keep him in by producers simply because it's not actually in their best interests to keep unpopular people in the show. I think the judges have their favourites early on and let them get away with more. Peter's in that role this year. We've seen it before in the past. It's not exactly professional but...

Indeed no explanation tends to mean there is no explanation that we can credibly offer.

The basic problem for Peter was the choregraphy. There's a question if thats fair on him, but its all you can judge on , or you start talking about the dance he might have been able to do. The choregraphy didn't change.

Peter might have danced it better - but the content still wasn't there if he did - and Len seemed to think he didn't.

Jamelia started 2 points ahead . Len said she was his choice , so she obviously didn't dance it worse..

At least one judge seems to have reversed his earlier marks - we would need the marks per judge to know who. There's zero reason on offer for the change. That judge sticking with their previous viiew plus Len would have saved Jamelia.

There might be other criteria , but we have been told they don't count - ask Pixie.

The suspicion is there's only one criteria - to keep 2 males in. Whether that continues, and 2 better females get knocked out, so Peter makes it an equal sex final , we shall have to watch.

You need a proof that the show is fixed?! There it is! Look at Darcey's face. she couldn't even look at the camera from embarrassment.
Absolutely pathetic. Peter danced even worse than on the show.

Oh boo hoo.
If she found it that embarrassing perhaps she shouldn't have colluded in such an absolute farce.

If it's a light entertainment show, why is everyone getting their knickies in a twist If she hadn't gone this week, she would go next week.

It was nice to see Jamelia show everyone up with her dignity and grace in defeat.

If that was not the biggest fix of the century so far I don't know what is just because they don't want one boy left in the competition and they seem to think Peter pulls in the viewers! I hope he goes next week otherwise someone better will be thrown off to keep him in!!!

Who'd have guessed after Gethin, Austin and Pixie that Jamelia would be the next to join the WUZROBBED Hall of Fame.

Jamelia definetely deserved to stay and I would've loved to have seen her gain a reputation as the 'Dance-off Slayer' - who always ends up in the bottom 2 but suddenly then turns into dancer extrodinaire and knocks out all-comers.
Sadly that now won't happen.

Really gracious exit though.

Thanks for the detail who voted what.. So, given Peter danced the same jive less jive, and no one said Jamelia was worse , Jamelia should have won 3 to 1, And if one judge had changed their mind, she should still have won 3 to 2 on Len's vote.

The dance off is meant to be judged on the dance off performance, so his other weeks, good bad or indifferent should not come into it.

Anyone got the judges' individual marks for Jamelia and Peter ?
Jamelia C-7 D-8 L-8 B-8

Peter C-6 D-7 L-8 B-8

So both Craig and Darcy scored Pete lower

The Wikipedia page has a wealth of stats!!
