I totally agree, last night was about as bad as mouldy bread.

Having looked back at it again, I agree, I know it was a shock but based on that dance off she should've gone.

But at the time I thought she danced better in the dance off but maybe that's because I didn't think she should be there in the first place.

I hope the judges don't give Peter top place on the leaderboard this weekend.

I will still watch the show but that disgraceful dance off has made me the angriest I've ever been in my entire life.

I'm not exaggerating, it's true.

I probably will calm down but I will never forget this fiasco.

I'm always amazed how someone who is consistently at the bottom of the leader board and voting suddenly becomes so popular and well-regarded when they actually leave the competition.

The only fix is that she should have left about a month ago, there's only so many times the judges can continually save one dancer without being accused of favourtism surley?

I feel for both Peter and Jamelia as Peter seems a decent honest person.. and probably knows he wasnt the winner.. so he ll be feeling bad.. like the man a lot, but Jamelia danced the shoes off him last night.

That is a valid point, the judges will have got a lot of flack if they'd have saved Jamelia though.

But to me, the dance off, is about saving the person who did better in the dance off and I would have saved Jamelia.

I haven't had a chance to watch the show back yet, but it does seem clear that P'duh is being rigged to continue because I did watch his first dance and it was woeful.

And from everything I read from people who did watch the DO, he wasn't that much better in the re-run. Let's hope we don't get two good dancers in jeopardy next week and he gets off scot free

From the start Peter was the better dancer, he tries very hard and I wanted him to do well.. but oh poor Jamelia.. shes come on so well recently and it just wasnt right..

actually I got angry too as I hate unfairness and this was unfair big time..

I was annoyed at his comment just before the dance off that he hated that it had to be with poor poor pitiful Jamelia, she'd been through so many (with the emphasis of how MANY she'd been in - ergo, she's crap.)

You know darn well he was beyond THRILLED it was Jamelia, and his heart had probably been pounding to beat the band with fear that he'd face someone else who'd take him out. That is why he had to bring up how many dance offs she'd been in - to emphasise that it was she who should 'finally' go home, poor thing.

And I'm not really an anti-fan. I thought the choreography was more at fault than he was and I'm suspicious that he was stitched up by the producers - maybe with a choreographer assigned to "help" Janette but with the real goal of sabotaging Peter.

You can disguise poor technique with Jive - turn it into more of a swing number if he can't do the kicks/flicks - but that piece of crap dance was too awful for me to believe someone - anyone - sincerely believed it would play well with the judges OR the audience.

Anyhow, Jamelia's dance was lovely and considering how many other dances that have been overmarked to the stars, she could have received higher marks and been put in a safe spot, but they were ready to ditch her - and Peter got chosen for the job, who knows why? But I feel certain there's a reason and it's a stitch up.

But he's so sleazy and fake, who cares - stitch away!

When Peter was saved I said to myself well that proves Ola,s accusations to be correct, Jamelia was far better than Peter in the dance off and should have been saved yet again. I just feel that as she kept appearing in the DO they just thought they had better get rid, poor decision and not well timed taking Ola,s story into consideration.

I don't really understand the outrage. It was a tough call to make because Jamelia was certainly better in the dance-off, but Peter has been the better dancer overall. His poor dance this week wasn't wholly his fault; it had a lot to do with the terrible choreography, which I'm amazed the judges didn't mention. I would've felt sorry for him if he'd gone out the first week he was in the dance-off because his pro partner gave him a bad routine, especially over someone who would no doubt have been in the dance-off again the following week anyway. He deserved a second chance.

If anything, I'm more annoyed by the way Jamelia's consistently been given an early dance slot. If she'd been on towards the end of the show perhaps she wouldn't have ended up in the dance-off at all. However having landed there, it wasn't unreasonable to send her home over Peter.

One of Peters worst dancers, he has done well though and tries so hard...I feel for him too, but Jamelia last night was robbed..IF the judges are so warped and not allowed to answer honestly why dont they walk out... Id think much more of them all.

He also brought up being at the top of the leader board, just to remind the judges how good they think he is.

The dance off is meant to be about that actual dance. Jamelia was much better than Peter in DO and in original dance too.

But in every single dance off, she was up against someone who had been scored worse than her in the main show, including Peter. She was also never once placed bottom of the leader board so she was never kept in over someone who was glaringly better than her.

She was saved ahead of Iwan, Ainsley, Kirsty and Jeremy, who she was better than on each occasion. She was also far, far better than Peter this weekend. So I don't see why she should have gone about a month ago. She has left at around the time she should have done (she's ranked at 8th overall when all the judge's scores are added up, and she went out in 8th position) but it's not fair that she has gone out when she wasn't the worst of the two in the dance-off on the night.

She actually kept improving and she had one more week in her. But she was punished for not having a penis or the same notoriety as Pete.

Oh God you're right! Did he think the judges were listening and he could influence them - or just by habit, he starts scheming and persuading, just by effing habit?

I've become an antifan now - not because of the dance off - but for that little snivelling passive-aggressive sneaky little speech.

Honesty/sincerity are not the first traits that spring to mind given the recent court trial and the PR guff his agency gets him to churn out.

Peter has been nannied by the judges since the beginning and placed higher on the judges leader board than he deserved to be every single week, bar possibly his Charleston!

When he's placed correctly as he was last night, we can see that just like Jamelia he doesn't have the public support the producers expected him to have.

Jamelia hasn't been saved at the expense of a better dancer in each of her previous dances - she deserved to stay over each and every one of them, and she deserved to stay last night.

The fact that Peter has been saved from the bottom two previously has been entirely down his undeserved high marks for dances like his clompy quickstep, dreadful paso, and smoky Viennese waltz (hiding a multitude of sins). He did well in week one, but hasn't shown any improvement since then - Jamelia on the other hand has improved week after week and went out and nfairly the week she did her best dance.

Given the revelations in the media over the weekend regarding fixing the competition, I am extremely surprised that the producers went ahead with one of the most blatant fixes they have ever shown - not only did Jamelia wipe the floor with Peter in the main show and dance off, they had to reshoot the end of Peters dance as they wanted to show a standing ovation that the audience had to be instructed to give!

Something is rotten in the Strictly production office and they deserve to have their knuckles rapped for that fiasco last night - do they honestly think the people bloc didn't notice the better dancer on the night being sent sent home?

And by the way - I dislike both Peter and Jamelia - so no axe to grind!
