James Jordan has tweeted that he wants Peter to win but based on the dance-off Jamelia should've gone through

well that would be almost worth it to watch the board melt down, and in the hope of a mass flounce of the overheated brigade........

but actually there's no-one left that i'd be willing to let go before him....

Righto after my weekly fix of Strictly, I've been rendered speechless with how serious you lot take this 'dance show' which I love, despite moaning minnies watching it weekly and then tearing it to shreds. Going to watch the news to see if anything really important has happened over the last 24 hours.Night all!

This is all we.....well I, want - consistency! Whats the point of the DO if it doesn't give you a chance to do it better thus give you a better chance to stay in the comp?

Definitely, I voted for her in the hope she's avoid another Dance off but that doesn't change what the judges are there for. Why not last week against Jeremy?

Absolutely agree - he is a much better dancer than Jamelia - the poor choreography was down to Janette - he can only dance what he is given

He's actually plodded his way through some woeful dances 😡
Definitely not a good dancer more like a very weak MJ imposter 😡

I've no axe to grind about any of the dancers, I only watch the show to keep Herself company, but as I watched Peter Andre's D.O. I said to Herself that he'd blown it because he was worse second time out.
I can only guess that because perhaps most of the regular voters are highly likely to be female the judges were ordered by producers to keep the voting revenue stream and female interest in the show alive by keeping him when, even to somebody with two left feet who's had a stroke (Thats me), Jamelia's dance looked a lot better than Peter's.

Exactly. The calls of fix and producers being evil and cackling villains behind the scenes is way OTT imo. But the judges do have their biases - and have for years - and will certainly protect their favourites.

Except there's no revenue stream...

“and female interest in the show alive by keeping him....”

Also blatantly not true considering the amount of female winners we've had.

I suspect the GBP will have taken note of the FIX, and he'll get about 3 votes next week.

Those 3 so called judges should hang their heads in shame . Jamelia was clearly robbed of her place in that farce of a DO . Especially guilty are Craig and Darcey . Both marked J&T 7, 8 and P&J 6,7 . There was no improvement in his DO and they are both liars .

Can I just say......FIX!!!!! I am furious, Peter was by far the worst dancer on the night and the judges are supposed to judge the dance off only!!! Hang your heads in shame Craig Darcy and Bruno!!!

I agree with your point that he can only dance what he is given, but the fact is that he didn't. ...Jamelia in comparison, danced a complex routine, well. Plus in the DO, Peter danced it even worse that he did originally.

Ditto! If I thought it would do any good, I'd complain to the BBC.

So clearly a 'fix'. DOs should be better. Incidentally, they PA should lose a point because that was definitely NOT a jive!

I don't usually agree with claims of a fix but after tonight I don't know how it can be described as anything else.

Jamelia was very good and her dance had loads of Quickstep content.

Peter didn't seem to do a jive at all. No kicks and flicks that others have been marked down for not getting right as an essential part of the Jive. I can only assume his management team made BBC sign some kind of contract that ensured he reached the final.

At least some of the judges had the decency to look ashamed. No comments just straight to decision. No need to pause and comment when you have already been instructed what to say.

Peter really should have gone home Tonight IMO, his Jive had very little actual Jive content- Yes potentially Janette's fault, but what little there was, was poorly executed. I feel he has got thro so far without landing in the bottom two, due to either being in a good place on the board, or others having a bad week so votes placed elsewhere. Sure he can sell and perform a dance..but his dance ability is in doubt. again IMO!
Sorry Jamelia, you should really have survived this week.

Exactly, that female audience isn't voting for male celebs and are perfectly happy to have to look at male pro dancers

Oh stop it. the judges are supposed to judge on WHAT THEY SEE IN FRONT OF THEM IN THE DANCE OFF!!!

And what I saw was bloody rubbish from Peter in comparison to what I saw from Jamelia.

There is no fix, the viewing public placed them as the bottom two, should a consistently slightly better performer leave because of one bad dance, or the worse performer stay because of one slightly better dance?

You wouldn't give that choreography for a fully fit man in the Jive. I didn't remember him raising his knee much. He either leant forward a bit skippy or did a few perfunctory kicks and flicks using only the lower leg when completely upright, not raising the knee so he could swish his leg around with foot pointed. If this man has a long-term problem they've just wasted a place by keeping him in.

Why have dance off then if the decision can be made without it?
