You need a PC graphics card with TV-out. These normally have composite/ S-VHS output. They usually come with the leads to plug into a scart socket on your TV (not very long though, so you might need to buy a longer one or an extension). You can then watch anything that's on your PC on your TV. They cost from about 30 quid upwards, most of the big PC online retailers stock them, Scan, Ebuyer etc..

Philips sell a wireless machine that lets you access all your music, movies, etc and you can also browse the net, (on your tv) there is another machine made by aei that will display your pc screen contents on your tv screen (not sure if sound is included). I am considering buying the Philips there are 2 models sl300 and sl400, the cheapest I have found them so far is at DABS.

I have a Radeon 8500 graphics card, which, when I bought it three years ago, was supposed to have the best TV out via S-Video lead.
It is okay, I suppose, but not as great quality as the reviews lead me to expect.
If I have soe thing on the pc which I would like to view on TV then I tend to burn a DVD+RW and put it in my DVD player - better quality.

I'm justabout to upgrade my graphics card to a GeForce 6600, which may give better quality on TV out, but I'm not counting on it.

I've also got the Radeon 8550DV and it's TV output is ok fut not spectacular... I've never found any TV output from a graphics card to be very good compared to normal video equipment... I also do as diable says, burn to DVD on the PC and playback on a domestic DVD player.

I have a nvidia ge force 2 400 which i has a s video out . As said before the tv picture is adequate. One problem i found was that it was a 4.3 image and could not be adjusted for widescreen.

If you have a Radeon card, you can use a VGA>RGB SCART lead which gives excellent picture quality for video playback, and supports widescreen.
