I really can't see Dannii ever returning, she went out on a huge high and has settled in Australia with her son, and her career is still doing great things out there.

I did not want Louis to be a judge until I saw him earlier in the series, he seemed excellent, genuine, plenty of empathy and supportive criticism, real experience as a performer behind him ...

To be fair we all know that they have one final series before the Voice starts so they may as well go hog wild.

Bring back Louis Walsh instead of Grimshaw. Get Danni back instead of Cheryl and Bring back Dermot - BUT as the leader of the Pirate category - those not selected by the other judges from whatever category. Keep Carolyn by herself - or go real Tonto and bring back Kate - she probably needs the gig!

As much as I would love a Dermot return I think it's nigh on impossible. He left of his own accord so why would he come back. As for Danni this is just her fan's dream but will never happen thank goodness.

I don't believe they will show their hand this early on even if they know for certain who they plan to keep and who they don't, no way will they be telling anyone they are done when they are still going out on live TV for another several weeks.

That being said a lot of the stuff in the original post does seem like the obvious educated guesses.
Like I doubt Nick will be back which IMO is a shame because while I thought he seemed like a dud in the auditions I think his been a great judge on the live shows.
And if either Olly or Caroline come back I'll be shocked. His gaffs have been bigger but she's been pretty lousy too as she's bumbled a number of lines and neither seemed to have much control in any situation.

And Louis from 1D joining the panel seems to be likely because it seems to have been rumoured for a long time (even before 1D announced break) and he has been expressing interest publicly. And 1D are super popular with younger people so having a member on a panel seems as good as attempt as any to get the younger viewers in.
Plus he appears to be very friendly with Simon, the season before this one Louis seemed to be making regular appearances in all of Simon's acts rehearsal videos and he was the guest at judges house this year.

It's not the judges or the presenters that was wrong this year. It's the manipulation, the sob stories, the wrong people not making it to the live shows. Seems very staged, obvious and often looks scripted.
