If either thought that the plan was to portray it as a firing then Olly and Nick could have announced it whenever they want, all they would have had to do is write a tweet. IIRC Gary Barlow went rogue and announced his exit in the middle of a live show - there was no press release!

Now Caroline has "quit" - first confirmation that the OP failed to predict.
That would have been a risky move for Olly, as hes signed to Syco and he uses the programme as a platform for his own material. Gary was far bigger than the show, and Nicks career wouldn't suffer because he's unattached to X Factor and ITV.

They seem to be going down the route of saying Caroline is too busy with Love Island, but any presenter who wants a profile wouldn't even consider doing Love Island if they had to choose between the two. All three have clearly been sacked and it's all just PR. It wouldn't surprise me if that's why the rumours came out about Rita rejoining The Voice, just in case she was to follow and then she is also deemed as 'busy'. I'm not convinced Rita will be back either, and I expect there to be more to the story that Dannii has quit the Austalian version.

Let's be honest, it is not so much rats leaving a sinking ship as being forced off it at gunpoint. The HMS X Factor is now below the water line and sinking fast. Best thing would be for Simon Cowell to admit it and do down with it. If it were an animal a vet would have put it down out of kindness.

Bear in mind this is something the OP has totally invented.

Unless the OP is a disgruntled Anton, that is.
This post looks a bit silly doesn't it?

If Cheryl is fired, her "quitting" won't be announced till close to the time of filming, and it will be preceded by a bunch of articles saying how Simon and the producers pulled all the stops to get her back, so that people think she actually quit and wasn't fired. They'll take care to actually make it look like she quit, unlike with Grimmy and Olly.

Why? I could have guessed everything the OP said, infact most people knew Olly and Nick would be leaving.

This is all hilarious! They can try to create as much drama as possible the truth is this show will not suddenly go back up in the ratings - it's had its time. Will just get the 6 million viewers from now on and keep losing out to Countryfile on the Sunday. It's not the hosts or the judges impact it's just a a bit of a tired show now.

This guy lost credibility by saying it'll be the last series.
It should be, but it won't.

Oh then it must be true. All that's been written is they are in negotiations. That might not be true. I hope you don't take everything in papers as gospel.

Why is it too much to believe? It's exactly the kind of crap this show pulls.

Though I wouldn't put it past them, you're pretty gullible to just be gobbling up what some random nobody posts on a forum.

I didn't gobble it up, but it's not hard to believe. I could see it being true. We'll just wait to see what happens to find out.

It must be fun for you to keep making these things up. Emma Bunton? 5 judges? DAN WOOTTON? You were at least somewhat believable at the start!
