Without doubt the DO vote by the judges was wrong and looks very much like a fix. I'm not too worried as I didn't like watching Jamelia so won't miss her; ironically I would have been equally happy to Andre go too as he comes over as pretty nauseating too.
Lot's of outrage abut Andre being the golden boy etc and being kept in but I just wonder if the fix was because Jamelia wanted to go. She's obviously got an over-inflated opinion of herself and not getting the public vote obviously hurt her ego badly as she whinged a number of times 'I'm not very popular...snuffle, snuffle....'. Also having the record of the most times in the DO could translate into the record for being the most unpopular person ever in her 'celeb ' head. While I didn't warm to her I do understand that repetitive appearances in the DO could be embarrassing.
So, yep it looks like a fix - but perhaps it isn't all bad as it's possible she actually wanted to be released and the BBC kindly let her go this way rather than having to do a 'I'm ill...' or similar exit that no-one would have believed. This could be why she danced better than ever too - the pressure was coming off.
This would be a reverse John Sergeant - he had to leave as he was too popular, she had to leave as too not-popular. Just a shame it didn't happen last week so Jeremy could have been on his guitar rather than that tosser Craig.
