Ofcom rejects plane explosion complaints
As reported in The Guardian, Ofcom are not investigating the complaints over the plane being destroyed by Zygon-Clara, broadcast a few days after the plane-bombing in Egypt, an I issue which I recall being discussed a little here. There were 31 complaints, but Ofcom have said that Quote:
the science fiction nature of Doctor Who and the storyline created a sufficient distinction from recent events.

so out of 5,760,000 viewers only 31 complained.....
makes you think some people are purposely making a mountain out of a molehill, I'm glad common sense prevailed, it's just a shame OfCom can't bill the timewasters! |
