The Good news is Peter won't win now*
* so says me
Surely this goes to show that Peter is just hanging in there? I thought his fanbase would pull him through but it seems not I can see Jay or Georgia taking this now Followed by Helen and Katie I think Kellie and Peter are definitely the outsiders now I've not heard much positive towards Peter on here or social media so I believe the others will have much more support Maybe just my own theory |

I think he was the bookies' fave pre-show, but as soon as he actually started dancing it was pretty clear that he wasn't going to be the best, and once he started talking...
no way. I think it's been Jay's to lose since week 3 at the very latest.

He never was going to win!
He just isn't popular enough - and instead of getting a post dance off bounce - he will pay the price of last week and be there every week from now on! He should not still be there after that appalling dance and dance off The British like to see fair play - and that was sadly lacking last night! |

REALLY???!!
![]() ...and in just how many years has the best dancer NOT won Strictly... A journey - Mark Ramrakash/ Darren Gough/ Chris Hollins A great partnership with their pro - Abbey Clancey/ Darren Gough etc etc Perceived as being harshly treated by Judges (especially Craig) more in the early stages A protest vote against "judges pets" The years when the "best dancer" didn't win eg Ricky Whittle/ Natalie Gumede etc was down to the fact that the voters didn't like them as much as the ones they voted for. I for one could see that Ricky was a great dancer, but he came across as cold, and his pro as too competitive so I voted for the pair clearly having fun and enjoying themselves, and I just didn't like Natalie in her year - she was just too good, but I really enjoyed watching Abbey! And - the years when the "best dancer" didn't win were usually those who did improve over the competition, were clearly enjoying it, worked hard and got on great with their pro dancers. That said the judges and producers blew it this week - they must think we are blind not to have realised that Jamelias quickstep was a million miles ahead of Peters "Jive" - and particularly after Olas newspaper comments! Given the number Myers of people who said that they had actually voted for Jamelia for the first time I'd hazard a guess that Peter was bottom of the public vote this week, as well as the leaderboard. And it also shows that without being undeservedly high up the leaderboard he is about as popular as Jamelia! I very much doubt that he will get the bottom two bounce next week - particularly as he will have to do the quickstepathon - one of the dances he murdered earlier on! |

I never thought he would win. What I don't understand is how the bookmakers can have a favourite even before they have danced a step. Anyone enlighten me?

I have no idea who will win but I think you're completely wrong if you're not counting Anita as a serious contender.
She could easily win - as could Jay, Georgia and I still think if she's lucky with her dances Katie. I'm less convinced about Kellie and Helen but they can dance well enough not to write them off. Peter - I don't know. People have come back from the b2 and he's still got the salsa to dance and Janette will have something special planned for that. |

There's a side of me that would love Andre to win this now.
We could have a Clodhopping Stomper who doesn't bother with the correct steps/kicks of a dance, as Champion. Crazy Days

I think it was clear that Peter wasn't going to win from week2. I'm still surprised he ended up bottom 2 though- I thought he had a big (deluded) fan base

As the weeks went by, and it became obvious that Jay was not only a good dancer but also very popular, big money started to be placed on him to win. Jay is now 4/6 on to win, terrible odds unless you've got a lot of money to invest. Peter Andre Has gone right out to 25/1, a lot of people must be a bit sick at taking those early odds. Basically, the bookies are now calling it a two horse race, you can get very attractive odds betting anyone bar Jay or Georgia (best priced at 5/2). |
