Some good detective work there Leicester_hunk, but I don't believe Heather's 2 points of view are mutually exclusive?!

To bring what up

Completely ungracious of a producer to demand a standing ovation of an audience .
Making a mockery of the standing ovation . A standing ovation should be spontaneous and freely given, not demanded .
Yes, I wonder if Tess will change her spiel from now on.."look the audience are on their feet...voluntarily !

Can I just say Pondre has slid in to the next round in a pool of grease.

He is sinking quicker than the Titanic with all the negativity towards him.

The whole series has been a set up with the constant over making of Can I just say Pondre.

Funny you should say that Heatherbell, when you have said the above on the Daily Mail site.

It's very interesting that only the people who are either clearly big fans of Peter or make no effort to disguise their dislike of Jamelia are the ones saying how ungracious and disrespectful she was.

I've really liked Jamelia from the start, but I love her even more for that now. I was expecting something subtle/slightly barbed from either Tristan or Karen, something along the lines of that they disagreed with the DO verdict, but bloody hell, I wasn't half gobsmacked when she completely let the cat out of the bag!

You know that could just as easily be someone from here stirring and pretending to be HB, right? That has happened to me before, apparently, it's hilarious.

Obviously, apologies if it is you, HB, but it really doesn't sound like you and the location is a clue that it is a dig.

Respect to Jamelia. And to Tristan who totally agreed with her but saying it in such as way that he probably won't lose his job for agreeing.

Brilliant ITT tonight. I worry about how much the controversy is going to escalate now though. Hopefully not to the detriment of the show.

I was talking about being in the bottom 5 times and being saved 4 times. How many times did she want to be saved??. I think judges were right to save Peter, who had a bad night.
If not for the dance off, the other system, person with least amount of total votes, she would have gone long ago.
If they had public votes for who should eliminated, Andre would have been out in the first week. His few supporters just don't get it, his little fan base doesn't amount to much, most people loathe the odious, whimpering, no-talent bore.

Firstly, just because someone didn't belive the one account about the SO from the mole doesn't make them a Peter fan. I personally just wondered if they understod what was going on correctly. As someone else has said things are re-shot a lot on Sunday night and it could have been a simple case of a camera mishap towards the end of the dance so they re-shot it.

Also why are we laughing at Zoe? None of this is her fault. And can we now please keep the discussion in the current threads instead of making new ones to say the same thing the million other threads about it say.

Agreed. Clearly some idiot from DS stirring up trouble. They'll be banned from this forum for impersonating someone, so hey - why not do it somewhere else?

I understand perfectly. I also think as judges they should be able to protect a better overall dancer. That was the very reason the dance off was introduced. They had to choose between a person being in the dance off week in week out whether Ballroom or Latin and the other having a bad day.
If they are just going to protect the better overall dancer, there is no need for them to dance again, they could just tell them who it is and let everyone go home. If they don't want someone in the DO week after week they need to introduce a 3 strikes and you're out rule. That's not how it works under the current rules though. They say it is the best performance in that one dance in the DO, which was Jamelia.

But they can't.

Exactly. Tess always asks one of the judges every week.."what does X have to do to stay in ?". If the real answer to that question is.."nothing, we've made our minds up already" there's no point in a dance-off. it's basically just trimmings to pad-out the show.

I'm not against keeping the best dancer in the show, but just do away with the pretence. They are not even consistent are they ? Pixie Lott was far more talented than Peter Andre, but in her case she was eliminated because of one mediocre performance after several outstanding routines.

Yes, this exactly, can't wait for Tess to ask this question next week, as we now know it's all a load of b***ox and it can just be based on the who was better over the previous weeks.

The DO is now just fake and a waste of time. Sad really

Let's completely forget that she had zero public support and some incredibly mediocre and forgettable dances. She only looked liked she was trying the week she didn't have a duffer to see off in the DO.

I just hope Jamelia benefits from this controversy - I think people have got to like her as a result - hope so anyway

HoHoHo Jamelia is not going down well with the Peter apologists, really didn't think she would stand up for herself so brilliantly, Go Girl
Hohoho, the judges choosing whoever they wanted is not going down well with people who've taken an irrational dislike to a bloke on a trivial Tv show.

Ive liked her from the start but I didn't know anything about her. She was very unpopular on here and with the voting public. Something to do with some controversy on LW, which I have never seen. Anyway, that controversy surely didn't work in her favour. Maybe she is trying to recover by painting herself as a victim.

Apparently it was something about banning obese dog poo from shops or something.

HoHoHo, the judges making a mockery of the rules of a show, is not going down well with people who've taken quite a rational dislike to a bloke who sells his soul to the highest bidder on a quite fabulous TV show.
