What makes you think Tristan was embarrassed? I thought he was going to high five her and whoop. He so knew she was going to say it.
I can't stand Jamelia but credit where credit's due, she played a blinder on ITT tonight. She was quite restrained and just said that the fact they re-shot some audience reaction to PA's DO performance gave her the feeling her time was up. The fact that PA danced his jive so badly (twice) he would have been lucky to out-dance either Carol or Jeremy in previous weeks, had nothing to do with the judges decision. Anyone watching the show on Sunday could see that the decision had been made before she'd even danced for a second time.

When Jamelia said she thought she had a chance until they re-shot Peter & Janette DO ending with a "standing ovation" that was when Tristam's eyes widened with disbelief and restrained laughter and Zoe had a pained expression.
From what Jamelia said they reshot Peter's ending with arm in air and got one section of the audience to stand up ... and this reshoot occurred BEFORE the judges gave their final vote ... but Jamelia said she knew when they reshot Peter's stand ovation that she had no chance. Both Jamelie and Tristam agreed on the night they danced better ... it was in the original judges marks plus presumably from the audience reaction.
On the spoiler thread there was some indication from the various moles that the audience were displeased with what happened.

In any case, the DS does not encompass the whole Strictly viewing public (contrary to what FM's may think) - as an example, my mother and sister are totally oblivious to all the contraversy that has occurred this weekend. I'm sure that they are not a minority, particularly amongst older viewers.

Haha this is quite true, I've been kicking off loads on here, phoned my Mum last night, she's a big Strictly fan, and she was completely unaware that anything untoward had occurred over the Weekend.

If this is referencing Ogogo leaving early, he wasn't very good either. He was very limited by his injury and as a viewer that's boring to watch. Jamelia is now labouring under some pretence that she was excellent. She was a DO veteran with some terrible dances over the series.
Damn I missed it, we all knows stuff goes on behind the scenes its just nice when we get a glimpse into what actually does go on

I don't think Jamelia thinks she was excellent at all, she just thinks she danced a lot better than Peter in the dance-off on Saturday, as do around 90-95% of people in all the polls I've seen on the subject.

I think they were influenced by past form which is troublesome as Jamelia has been improving while Peter is quite static but essentially that s a judgement call. And they are judges.,.
