I don't think Jamelia thinks she was excellent at all, she just thinks she danced a lot better than Peter in the dance-off on Saturday, as do around 90-95% of people in all the polls I've seen on the subject.
She was entitled to allude to what she did on ITT. |

A lot of dance experts agree too - James Jordan (her No1 detractor), Darren Bennett, Oti Mabuse, Len Goodman, heck clearly Darcey Bussell!!!! agree too.
She was entitled to allude to what she did on ITT. @whatsontvuk Head judge Len wanted to keep Jamelia and send Peter Andre home from #strictlycomedancing. Do you agree? @arlenephillips Nov 22 Based on the actual dance off and not past performances. Yes @ChrisRhydderch @MarionKeyes I agree!! It was glaringly obvious who danced better!! Jamelia should have stayed!! At least @GrumpyLGoodman saw sense!! @arlenephillips Nov 22 He saw what we saw |

Since January 2005 to November 2015 344 posts in total gives less than 32 per year average........not that that's relevant to anything.

The post you replied to referred only to the audience reaction to Len's vote,it did not place any merit on the vote itself so your usual barbed response was entirely unjustified.

It was weird . Tristan looked embarrassed and she just kept simpering and grinning like crazy while gently sliding a long thin deadly knife into the judges, the production team and peter andre . I can't be doing with two faced people like her . Just spit it out and be up front without all the fluff and smarming .
Never mind, back to loose women and earth shattering debate for her . I'm no Jamelia fan but she was spot on and hardly two faced, she told us what we already know but what most of the stars are afraid to say! It was hilarious, tv gold. Love Tristan and Jamelias partnership. |

I am beginning to feel sorry I voted for her tbh. She has started an avalanche - with a giggle.
She was put through by these 'biased wicked' judges on four previous occasions - no complaints then! Maybe having giving her 4 chances they thought Peter deserved one! If Peter had gone out he would have done so without all this carp but thanks to her he is being humiliated in the press. Not funny and badly done on her part. A perfect example of spiteful passive aggression. Yes of course they were both entitled to say they thought they were better and should have been put through but much better to have left it at that. One thing that may come as a result of this is the BBC may not feel inclined to renew Tristans contract next year - I hope they do but If not will she still be giggling then?! All this reflects badly on Janette too - does Tristan think that is funny? She has to choreograph a new dance and come out next Saturday with a smile on her face with all this hanging over her and Pete. Not funny. There are better ways of going about things than this. I Love Strictly - one of the few TV programmes I watch but all this is leaving a bad taste in my mouth - and no doubt has Simon Cowell jumping for joy. |

I think the routine was part of the problem anyway. I haven't rated Andre's dancing from initial training stages - thought his skills were highly overrated in the press. However I do think that he is probably not a great pupil and that it was obvious to Janette that he couldn't manage much of a true jive, so she choreographed that piece of nonsense to hide his true abilities. Her face said it all on the results show - she knew she was on a sticky wicket with that dance. |

I can see people being equally annoyed if Peter had been voted off instead. The worst dancer still in the competition in their FIFTH dance off vs an over all far better dancer in their first dance off - even if on this occasion they may have danced very slightly better.
Manipulation is a different matter |

People wanted Jamelia gone last week instead of the discussion boards darling Jeremy
I know sometimes it might not have the popular result but it's fair and square. |

The audience vote for their 'favourite'. They can vote for the worst dancer if they find them entertaining, like their partnership etc etc.
If the judges - rightly - vote off the worst dancer then their fans can moan all they like, the judges will have done the job they are there for. What job are they doing when they save the worst dance? As Heavenly says, that smacks of manipulation. |

I must be in the minority. I think the DO should be about who dances the best. Otherwise, what's the point of it.

That's the way I think too. I was gutted Jeremy was in the DO but accepted immediately he was going home unless Jamelia felt flat on her face and then did a Matt D'Angelo

I watched her on loose women. Pretty gracious and generous to Peter. Remains glad she took part. Ruth her panel mate was more scathing.
