Isn't it more ridiculous that he always can find a way out of something? Sure, we accept it but it isn't very credible or realistic.
And Clara didn't sacrifice herself. She never intended to die. She made an error of judgement and then faced up to it bravely.

Regardless if its a ghost or syche she still appeared in the episode. Couldnt leave her for one week could they.
They should have left her alone and the suprise of her in ep 13 would have been better. You didnt get Adric coming back in Time Flight.

Are they going to show what's happening on earth? A schoolteacher has disappeared, was last seen.... The doctor would be suspicious they may want to talk to him. How is he going to explain
A bit. But my sympathy peaked way before she actually died, then just kinda petered out as the death scene was drawn out. She was a bit too frustrating of a character to elicit any strong emotion one way or the other. I felt pretty bad for the Doctor though.
