Oh Mags, the credibility of the bbc has long since gone, I think the whole Jimmy Saville thing buried it.

It's very puzzling Monaogg how Both Kellie's & Anita's were given standing ovations including the ones sitting on the left of the Judges, but wasn't allowed to stand for Peter

Sorry! I meant to the left as you look at the judges. That was what they were told anyway.

Maybe it was just the back rows, where they were sat. They were not told they were not allowed to stand for Peter, just in general. They have no reason to lie to me!

Why do you watch the show and comment then? also bringing the the Jimmy Saville scandal to this thread is inappropriate.

You can also see from the videos in the links above that the vast majority of the people in the balcony stay seated. Usually people in the balconies are told to stay seated because of the rumbling noise they make when sitting and standing.

The spokesman went on to say how well Peter performs in next week's show , fully deserving the judges marks totalling 36, that should keep him well out of the dance off.

The spokesman went on to say " allegations of manipulation or fixing of results to favour certain dancers are ridiculous."

He concluded, " I would just like to say how well Peter performs in next week's show - fully deserving the judges marks totalling 38 that keeps him out of the dance off"

Well, given that the whole refilming the standing ovation story was reported to these boards in the spoiler thread on Saturday night, it seems remarkably unlikely to me that Jamelia just happened to make up exactly the same story. Unless of course she's reading these boards which also seems a tad unlikely.

(Cue thread in which 50 people stand up and shout "I'm Jamelia!"... )
