Look who's back!

Some very good stuff coming up it seems. The show is on top form when the Mitchell's and Beale's take centre stage!

That's a lovely pic at the end of Beale, The Undead, and Murderous Pam. 3 cretins with murderous secrets looking up at the beautiful tree, not a care in the world.

It says "tragedy" at Christmas. I am wondering if Fatboy is in the firing line.... Its t like they need to keep his character alive to return one day is it.

I think I can guess what will happen:

There's drama at the Mitchells when Phil lashes out at Sharon. Sharon widens her eyes and tells Phil she's leaving him for good. She goes to stay at Ian's for 45 minutes and then goes back to Phil.

Kat returns to the Square pregnant with another man's baby. She tells Alfie she's a dirty girl and can't help it.

Mick is busy inappropriately stroking someone's head and fawning over "Ell" when Tina arrives and urges Shirley and Mick to make up. But their Christmas lunch is ruined when Dean turns up at the Vic. Mick gets the 'ump and tells Dean and Shirley to get "ahhht of ma boozah".

Ronnie and Roxy have a huge row. Ronnie says she's just protecting Roxy because "you're mah sistaaaa" and Roxy replies "you're just like dad".

The end.

I'm happy that Christmas will be all about the Mitchells and the Beales. NYD will be all about the Carters. Kat and Alfie will probably have a minor role in the Xmas Day episodes but I'm glad they're back for a bit.

I'm not too happy. The festive period should be a time to take a break from the misery, and unite everyone in the vic for a sing song and sherry after Xmas dinner. Not blow up drama that should have been resolved weeks ago.

I hope Kat's role isn't minor, hers is the story I'm most looking forward to!

I am interested in the Bobby Beale resolution too. It will be interesting to see just how far he'll go. I have a hunch he might try and kill Jane.

I'm not sure what the Mitchells are supposed to be up to but Phil is always 10 times more interesting as a desperate old drunk.

I hope not too but the BBC synopsis said it's a huge episode for the Beales and Mitchells. "This Christmas on Albert Square is set to be one of the most explosive yet. Families at war will lead to tragedy and the worlds of some Walford residents will come crashing down around them. The Beales and Mitchells reach breaking point, which leads to life-changing consequences".

I think Kat finds out about her secret son in January because there have been reports that Sister Ruth is back in January. But it'll be good to have Kat back as I have missed her

But she may find out on Christmas Day so I have no idea. I hope the Xmas episodes features lots of people.

If it's truly the end of Dean it'll be worth it. I could even just about tolerate Bobby as long as that beardy scum is wiped off the earth.

You forgot "Shirley reveals a secret which threatens to tear the Carters apart for good".

Maybe we can get Rita to drive down from Weatherfield to have a duet with Elaine.
