Good news, It was always likely that it would end up on Sky1 given they have The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl but its good to have it confirmend now

Just hope they show it relatively on Pace with the US, which they usually do with the Flash and Arrow and Supergirl is just 3 days behind so no reason to think they will wait to long to show it

Looks good from the clip I saw, a cross between The Flash and Dr Who came to mind, that's when Dr Who used to be good

Well leeowls87 it is only Supergirl that is shown by Sky 3 days later as the other two are shown 7 days behind US pace. However that is due to schedule so it depends with Sky so it will be interesting to see what they do with Legends Of Tomorrow on Sky 1!

Could possibly be 9pm after either The Flash or Arrow depending on how crossover stories work. Cannot see it been 8pm on a Monday unless The Muppets has finished it's run nor 9pm as it would be going up against Game of Thrones when that restarts. Which really leaves Thursday at 9pm, Friday or Sunday at 8pm.

Legends is meant to take the space of The Flash or Arrow in US schedules so I assume the same for the UK.

No, Legends is replacing The Vampire Diaries or The Originals in the states. Flash and Arrow are staying in their usual time slots.

Isn't it a filler show like Agent Carter? I guess things have changed from when it was originally announced.

I was looking forward to it myself till I found out Sky had bought it. Now I know it's going to suck ass.

How? it would still be the same if it was on another channel.

Agreed, but with a few notable exceptions I've almost always disliked series that Sky have bought.

Surely the only other shows in Sky's schedule that matter are Arrow and The Flash?

If you like these two shows the odds are you will like this one, if not then you probably won't.

I mean your view on Ashley Banjos Secret Street Crew doesn't really come into it.

I disliked Supergirl too but I thought the trailer for Legends was very promising. I'll give the series a try at least.

No. Because Agent Carter fills in the break that SHIELD has early next year. Legends Of Tomorrow will be airing while Arrow and Flash are still airing as normal. Nothing has changed from how it was always intended to be created. The CW are just expanding a successful franchise they have and who can blame them.

I think it will end up being shown on a Friday so they can show it a few days after the US like Supergirl but might be moved to Thursday if Supergirl is cancelled!

It was announced as a spin off to Flash/Arrow but it was (afaik) never intended for a mid season filler show.

Latest talk however is that it will be a one season show as it's going to be too expensive to keep making it.

At least if they are aware of this at this stage they can write the episodes so that the main story gets concluded by season end.

You will note that I didn't mention Supergirl in my post.

It's just not in the same (Justice) league as the other two shows.

Another dead Arrow character to make an appearance in Legends.

With Time Travel involved it will probably be set before said character dies rather than them being alive in the present.

Personally I prefer Supergirl out of the three

I think it's more a case that it may not be an "on-going" show with the same cast each season rather than they've said outright it will only be a one off.

Another trailer, not sure if this one's been posted yet. Nothing especially spoilery I don't think.

I preferred Supergirl too.

All Superhero shows depend on your ability to suspend disbelief at what you are seeing and just enjoy it for what it is. Supergirl manages to do that despite the plot being total nonsense as it makes up for it in being fun - and have a tasty lead too helps.

I've tried watching Arrow and The Flash and while both are OK I don't like either enough to be a regular viewer. They don't have quite enough charm for you to ignore the really bad dialogue, acting and pseudo-science. My current favourite DC Universe show is Gotham.

Compare with the Marvel alternatives, where Agent Carter, Jessica Jones and Daredevil all have decent writing, performances and allow you to turn off your brain just enough so that they believe what you are seeing.

I'll probably give Legends of Tomorrow a try but my expectations will be set fairly low.

Yep I'd go with Supergirl as well and I'm an old misery !

It balances out crappy love triangle nonsense with a sheer sense of fun and a charismatic lead who has moved on from a slightly twee and girly opening episode to portray somebody who is darn sight more super than her cousins recent incarnations,

We're obviously watching different shows

...and pseudo-science
Like any of the others have anything better. It's all fiction, you know
