Arthur Darvill (Rory from Dr Who) is quite good as the boss in this despite one minute having an 'Eastenders' cockney accent in first episode, then an Oxford Rada accent in later episodes!

His character is reminiscent of the scene he had with the cybermen when he was in his Roman Legion gear.

Sorry folks, but all I can see is Rory.
I'm waiting for Amy and the Doctor to make an appearance shortly.

"I can't believe you're thinking of teaming up with the Englishman"

The amusing thing is that both Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell were born over here

Same here, it's quite weird seeing him being the 'time lord' so to speak.

Early days but liking this so far.

Really? So explain him landing a major role in one of the most-popular TV shows on the planet; Doctor Who?

Easy. Very good mates with Matt Smith.

I don't know. Perhaps he's really good in auditions, but it doesn't translate to screen.

I didn't even realise it was Rory. Colour me stupid

I'm glad they established that they weren't really legends in the future. When I kept seeing that in the clips I was thinking, how can these people be the best eight he could come up with to save the world?

The truth of the matter makes a lot more sense!

Although, having said that, I still don't see why two crriminals whose only 'powers' are that they managed to get hold of some high tech guns are anything but a liability. Considering he's from the future he could provide just as high tech guns to anyone and not have to worry about their dubious morality!

Oh I didn't recognise it was him, I thought he looked familiar but couldn't place him.

Good on him for getting such a significant role.

I spotted it was Rory in the early trailers.

I actually liked it. Though the Hawkgirl actress has a strange mouth, wasn't sure if too much lip fillers or protruding teeth.

Wentworth and Dom seem to have the best lines.

Probably because they are one sentences at a time...just little quips here and there, hardly lines of script....personally I can see them getting tiresome very quickly.

Seems in future episodes they really have full story lines.

the characters seem awful at the moment , a bunch of modern tv cliches . Still , maybe some will find something interesting to do .

I just wish they'd make these things look a bit more like the source material .

Didn't get where I had seen him before....hated him in DW - but he's good in this.

As a Flash and Arrow fan.....I enjoyed this [always liked Sara] - "I like killing people"

Action & CGI very good too.

Oh please!

Or perhaps it's just that those who cast people in shows think he's actually quite good.

I enjoyed it. Looking forward to more.

Did like the first ep but Wentworth miller's acting as cold is just so bad. Liked him in prison break but in this his acting is nowhere near as good.
