That's precisely why I like both The Walking Dead AND Z Nation
^ This. I watch them all, Arrow,Flash,Supergirl,Legends Of Tomorrow, Gotham and I enjoy them all for different reasons. It would be boring if all were gritty or sweet and light.

You can't tell me that this week's episode wasn't at least a little game-changing and not something with "no substance".

I haven't seen it yet. Thought last week 1950 epsiode was awful. Week before I thought was brilliant.

The same goes for detective dramas. I enjoy the more "cosy" shows like Midsommer Murders and Death In Paradise just as much as I do the various Scandi Noir shows broadcast on BBC4

This week I think I heard someone saying something about "reversing the polarity" while attempting to repair some sort of tech. If so I wonder if it was a deliberate reference to Doctor Who

I would assume so. I think it has become a trope. And of course one of the characters is called Rory

One thing I'd like to know is why does Wentworth seem to talk in slow motion. He doesn't talk like that in prison break. Its seriously annoying listening to him. Thankfully his role has been reduced probably because he's now doing prison break.

Both guys from Prision Break use annoying voices, I get they're different characters and perhaps have to speak differently but I agree it's annoying.

Yes, that grates on me too. Oh well

This series is actually getting better. Certainly getting a little more "depth" to it I think.

It's fairly entertaining but I wish they had some consistant time travel rules instead of making it up as they go along.

One thing that stuck in my mind with this episode is the conversation Jax had with his dad and sort of warning him about what's to happen to him, not sure what the point was if he was given an amnesia pill after.

Anyone else think the character who plays Rip Hunter would make a good
Dr. Who. Maybe it is the long coat he wears but I think he could play the part

As he's more well known for playing Rory in Dr Who I'd have to say no.

Bit of strange episode this week. Last week ended with the warning those 3 time master almost bounty hunters are on the their way.

They then appear only to be defeated in 2 minutes.

Then there is another warning the pilgrim is coming and she kills children ? Really ?

What gets me is that taking all these people out of time is sure to have caused far more upset to the time continuum than anything they're being accused of.

Sarah, in particular, had a huge impact on Oliver's story. There'd be no Green Arrow without her, I'm pretty sure!

It really makes no sense for the Time Masters to be punishing people for messing up time in a way that is sure to create more of a mess!

But she went away after all the Green Arrow stuff, so that timeline shouldn't be affected.

Yes, but if Sarah had died as a kid, who would have saved Oliver on the Island? Would he even have been on the Island given that the reason he was on the boat that got ship-wrecked was to go away with Sarah?

Plus it was Sarah who was involved with Ras Al Guul so would that stuff have even happened if she hadn't been around?

The things this assassin was doing would have caused massive time changes that would have been at least as disruptive to the timeline as anything Rip and the team could accompllsh!

The Pilgrim wasn't going to take Sara out as a baby, they did say something in the episode about there only being one specific point in time at which they could be killed.

I said a kid, not a baby. She was a teenager when they met her. It was before she had met Oliver which means it would have affected his timeline if she had been killed at that point.

Same difference, baby/kid, the point they made on the show was that the time the Pilgrim could have taken Sara out had passed. That's why they only removed a couple of members of the team to the Refuge, they were the only ones still at threat.

Are we talking at cross purposes? I get the feeling you're missing my point!

The assassin tried to take out Sarah before Sarah had met Oliver. If she had succeeded that would have had huge repercussions to Oliver's timeline and, given everything he has done (including the recent saving the entire world stuff!), that would have been far more devestating to the timeline in general than anything the Legends are being accused of doing.

Of course, Sarah isn't the only one. For any of them, the earlier in their lives that you target them the more changes their absence from the timeline would cause to future events.

it seems to me, that it is crazy of the time masters to be meting out punishments in such a heavy handed way because, basically, their punishment for the crime of tampering is essentially more and worse tampering

It seems pretty ill-judged, if you ask me!

We have no idea how it affects other peoples' timelines, they've never gone into any detail on that so yes, removing Sara before she ran off with Oliver would have removed her from his storyline at that point in time but the show hasn't given any indication that someone else wouldn't have stepped into the role.

In fact, it's more likely that the universe would have provided an "alternative" Sara given Rip's comments about "time wanting to happen".

great episode, finally full on fighting Savage.

Loved super size Atom fighting the robot.

Boring Carter is back. That will be Ray dumped.

What will they do with Savage, they cannot just dumped him in some time period? Keep him locked up in the ship forever.
