Had to nip into a three store yesterday, noticed that the sim-only prices had increased to 18 and 23 for the 200min/ayce data ...

i am on the 1 month 200/ayce but pay 20.....will this increase or is it just new contracts that are the new price.....not received anything about an increase...

The price increase is also shown on the website. It includes 12GB of tethering instead of 4GB. It's annoying but I can only blame Ofcom's increase on licence fees.

You'll stay the same unless you want the new tethering allowance.

Wait a minute, Three have increased tethering from 4gb to 12gb?, well that's great news to me because Ive had the dreaded "We've contacted you about some changes to your plan" message today, so I've got a feeling I won't have unlimited tethering for much longer

I wanted to sign up for that deal the other day, but they wanted too much for me to stop my current £37/month contract early (it finishes in April and they wanted £130).

Will have to hang out until closer the time and hopefully the same deal will be around as I'm thinking of going SIM only from now on.

I was tempted just to get another SIM and my wife using it temp until April, but I thought it might cause issues retaining the same number on my current contract.

I've seen it work for some at times, and at other times get noticed and blocked within 5 minutes.

It's not something you can rely on as the time you really need it is the time they block you. You can't complain as it is prohibited so you shouldn't have been using it in the first place.

It is £18/month for a 12 month contract, and £23/month for a one month contract (both with 200 mins).

The previous prices were £17 (12 month contract) and £20 (one month contract).
