Indeed he is. Alijaz and Giovanni are handsome men as well, but Gleb is quite ridiculously good looking. Someone on Twitter said he looked like the reincarnation of Errol Flynn and I think I'd agree with that, in fact it's been bugging me since the start of the series who he reminded me of and that's it.

I'm looking forward to his rumba with anita. Gleb is a great addition to the Strictly family imo. This show would be dull if all the pros were alike in mannerisms .
The Aljaz and Gleb's comparisons are unfair on Gleb. It just seemed like some people use it as an excuse to explain their dislike of Gleb . I like both guys and I don't know why one of them is getting so much flack on this forum in comparison to the other.

See, I feel the same way about Aljas. Objectively I can see how handsome he is, appears to be a lovely man and all that, but he somehow leaves me and my nether regions cold.

I think also that it's probably for that Strictly provides a pantomime type entertainment for me, and as such I prefer Gleb partly because I find his antics funnier.

I do not see how anyone could say that Gleb is not a very handsome man, not to their taste yes, but to deny his looks is disingenuous.
I prefer a more rugged look as I would describe Gleb as "a pretty boy" but I do acknowledge that he is good looking.
Aljaz is also good looking ( despite his tiny eyes) and he appears more humble but as I personally know neither, I cannot judge.
Janette is batting WAY above her weight with Aljaz though.

I know he wants to get the best out of Anita .. and he is getting results but his attitude in the training room is not the best. It's not 'James Jordan' but it's heading that way. Anita doesn't mind (much .. though she has complained about it) as she is fairly robust and wants to succeed but Helen would have had a breakdown by now.

If he is still here next year, it'll be interesting to see him with someone less tough than Anita. To see if he adapts his training style to suit or whether they will be left to sink or swim.

I agree about Gleb and Aljaz, they are both good looking blokes but they are not my cup of tea. I prefer blond men.

To be fair, we saw the one clip where Anita was struggling and frustrated that she wasn't getting praise from Gleb but that could happen with all of the couples. I know I've seen Georgia express that view over Giovanni, if not quite as dramatically as Anita did.

And clearly Gleb is getting results, and I know this is subjective but I don't see it as a tense relationship, quite the opposite, as despite his rather stern exterior Anita seems very fond of Gleb.

Would he be different with Helen? Well, I imagine so yeah, but it's difficult to judge. I don't think he'd be unkind though and he'd probably adapt to suite her personality quite well. I don't know how he'd react to a duffer, if I'm honest I imagine that he'd find it hard to contain his disdain, but then at the moment I'd say the same for Giovanni. They've both been lucky in that respect this year so if they stay then time will tell.

Wasn't that part of a Saturday night VT? If it's the one I'm thinking of I thought it came across as quite scripted (as most of those VT's do), as though it was part of some arc for Anita that week.

I think Anita likes the direct approach as she seems quite no-nonsense. And I also think Gleb believes she can go all the way and is very eager to win one of these shows so is probably pushing to get the best from her. I think they were perhaps matched up based on their personalities as much as anything else and they seem to work well together.
