Back to Gleb: Young Rob Lowe & Ethan Hawke rolled into one tall, perfectly proportioned, stop-traffic, insanely, ridiculously good looking guy who'll probably look as good at age 95. Lucky b**t*rd!!!

I've become a fan of Gleb as the series has gone on but that made me howl with laughter.

I'm hoping it'll be as gloriously OTT as some of his other dances.

I assume the mirror would be able to do a better jive than Peter Andre though

I thought Anita was rubbish week 1 and he has done wonders with her.

I didn't care for Gleb at the start of the series. Vain Russian a la Artem. But as the series has progressed he seems to have relaxed and I like his haughtiness and wicked sense of humour, which combined with his stunning looks, make me think rude things. Anita is a perfect foil for him because she does not play the ingénue or flirty woman. She's a down-to-earth hard worker. They play polar opposites and it works.

Now as to the video: Tasteless. I don't care for the Russian SCD the little of it I've seen. If he introduces lifts to a dance that does not need or allow one then I hope he is penalised, which would mean Anita suffering and that would be wrong.

Yeah that was it. Though the whole thing is kinda scripted and those little films are part of it. They take a grain of truth and construct a story with it, For fun sometimes or on a long journey I write the scripts of the couples in my head.

So Anita is a plucky northern non nonsense TV presenter who is finding her mojo and re-discovering her sexuality with the help of the power of dance! and a hot instructor. Like Shirley Valentine meets Dirty Dancing.

And there's always a bit in those films where our heroine doubts her abilities and the hot instructor seems a bit mean, 'but only because I know you can do it!' You're better than you think you are, Baby/Shirley/Anita'.

It will all turn out well in the end and Anita's journey will be triumphant regardless of whether they win.

I know I'm a lone voice, but I never did what was so special about Artem. Good dancer for sure, but he was always a bit plasticy looking.

I felt the same about Artem.

I didn't get the Artem love either and it's the same with Gleb. But I can see Gleb is traditionally good looking. Just not my cup of tea.

I love Anita though so I'm supporting them as a couple.

Glebs vanity puts me right off him . I guess he is handsome but beyond that he is too self obsessed for my liking

Yes - he is a "look at me" dancer, but how many of dancers, actors, performers are like that 'on stage' but not off it?

It annoys me when people make judgements on people's personalities and life when they have never met them or even seen them away from performing

Oh fine , I dont know the man in his everyday life . I thought it was a given that we are discussing what we see on Strictly and ITT. . His persona he portrays on them is self obsessed and his choreography is much about him

I agree but I don't think the producers have always helped him out there. I think it was his intro video at the start of the series where they had him say "Hey, where are you going?!" when the camera tried to pan away from him. So straight away people get the impression he loves himself. It's nice to see him on ITT when he's just left to be himself.

He is self obsessed on twitter. Plugging his calendar and retweeting everyone that says how good looking he is.

He is very good looking, he knows it, we know it. He knows his looks can help with his career, and you cannot blame him at all in that respect but it does put me off him a bit. But I am an Anita fan so I hope they both get to the final.

I never thought Artem was great looking but he was sexy and had that alpha male thing going on.

Gleb is ridiculously, off the planet good looking. I hope he stays on as a pro for a few years, just to see the reaction he creates.

I have loved the dances he created, they're a bit different and modern. He probably is as vain as they come but he does a good job too.

Anita is great though, really so hard working and tough. I like her attitude and these two are my new fave couple, it used to be Helen and Aljaz.

Really? I thought her Cha Cha Cha was up there with the best dances week one. Gleb may have brought out the best in her, but she seems to have a natural ability.
