Hilarious watching Charleine on recall!
Easily one of the classic moments of the series so far.

I'm sure he has his moments bless him! More so than sour faced Gary anyway!
Doing things he finds enjoying, but for a kids' party he should have lightened up.

None of the other Candidates were any good either, and I'd be glad to see them all sacked.

I completely agree with that assessment of Gary. He is dull, boring and a poor manager.

Presumably they both had their real birthday parties afterwards?

The sight of the two teams desperation to cut corners on making a day special for a child was rather sad I thought.

Pretty much agreed with the majority. Gary should have gone.

A shambles for a kids' birthday! None of them had any insight at all, and as you said sad, which it was. Hope they had something better when the goons left!

Defo, empty contents, and light a fire to keep warm.

Maybe Gary has right ingredients for LS' partnership. He's no use at kids' parties, but could be ok for other work. All depends how he brushes up with expensive property selling! The idea for any of them selling that sort of property is mind-boggling -shudder-

Let's face it, none of them are perfect, and worst Candidates in the whole series of them!

When Karren and Claude began announcing the sales figures, it was immediately clear that Selina's team had won because we still hadn't seen the "try not to poison your client" line from Alan Sugar that was shown in the trailer from the previous week... (and this remark obviously applied to Gary's team)

That said, I think I've previously seen lines in trailers that weren't shown in the actual episode Such as the football stadium manager saying "How did you come to that [figure] ?" during the cleaning task a few weeks ago (but I might be wrong)

Goodness, this lot are nearly as unlikable as the infamous Series 4 candidates - and they're not particularly competent either.

Joseph and Charlene in particular really do set my teeth on edge. I know there have been brasher (to put it that way) female candidates in the Apprentice over the years than Charlene but my goodness she annoys me.

Just re-watched main episode to see what I missed, and must say it didn't make it better. Total grimness!

Going to bed to get over it, and see you all next week nn

Just watched. This might have already been said but, looking at the figures, even if they had got the T-shirt money and the extra £30 for the party bags they'd still have lost.

That wife completely overreacted by sitting away from the party.
Just don't eat the cake, simple as!
I knew someone who had your attitude, until they saw a collegue almost unable to breath because someone in a neighbouring office (with the door open) opened a packet of peanuts. If she says it's serious then it's serious.

the 20 minute lark
The cars will be here in 20 minutes, but one of them still has time to iron a shirt.

Not a fair task when one client could be meaner than the other.
