Simple question what song would you like to be danced to on Strictly? What style of dance would you like performed to it? And if you like out of the current crop of celebs (eliminated or remaining) who would you have liked to dance to it? Or any Strictly couple ever!

Sorry if this question has been asked before!!

I was listening to Elvis sing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra the other day and thought how much I'd love to see someone waltz to "If I Can Dream". I think probably Helen and Aljaz would do it most justice.

Katie and Anton have already danced to it.

I love the song "Open Arms" by Journey https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lLmYLw0WRI

It's a waltz and I think any of the remaining celebs would do it justice

A favourite of mine to tango to (Argentine style)

It would be nice to see it done well so I can nick bits. Hat stands/lamp posts optional but really not necesssary.

I saw a few suggestions for this for Georgia earlier in the series - what's the connection/significance (I didn't know her from Eve before Strictly started)?

Years ago they used The Noisettes song Wild Young Hearts for a Darren/Lilian lindyhop demo, and I've been struck ever since by what a great quickstep it would make.

I'd love to see Avalon by Roxy Music used for a rumba, it would be hard not to keep the hips moving the way they should to that song rather than it being a stop-start posefest.

I don't mind who danced to them, just so long as they could do them justice!

I absolutely love this Harvest Moon by Neil Young (sorry about the irritating advert beforehand). It has such a haunting, lilting beauty. I'm no expert on the dances, though. What would it be - a waltz?

One of my current "Ear-worms" is 'You Might Need Somebody" by Randy Crawford/Shola Ama. Though I can't work out which dance it could be used for. Possibly a Rumba?

With anyone doing it justice, of course.

I'd love to hear something operatic.

Also This Ellie King track would make a great group dance.

Every year I long to hear Gogol Bordello's American Wedding. Almost given up hope

Each And Every One - Everything But The Girl

Could be used for a samba or something.

I like Hurts' version of the Kylie song Confide In Me. Think it would suite a tango or a paso - certainly a slower latin dance, maybe a Argentine Tango.

As for the who? If it was to a Argentine Tango I'd like to see Georgia & Gio tackle it.

I would like a Paso done to the Dies Irae from Verdi's Requiem:

It would involve a lot of editing and would need a full symphony orchestra and choir so not seeing it happen anytime soon

Flying without wings- VW - Anita &Gleb
Uptown Girl - Charleston- I like to dance with Gleb.

10CC Sacro-Illiac. In true Strictly fashion not the original but this.

Or a slow English Waltz to Acid Rain by Liquid Tension Experiment.

Randy Crawford's version of that song is perfection. (The cover version, not so much.) I can imagine it making a lovely rumba.

Indeed. By the time you had that lot in the studio there would be no room for dancing. Wonderful piece of music though, a real spine tingler.

As an AS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXPH2-yTwuA Not sure if it would suit foxtrot style or better as a VW.

In Toscanini's version you can hear him shouting Forte! Forte! Exhaustingly magnificent

Love this music but would prefer it for a paso personally.

I would love to see a waltz to "If I be Wrong" by Wolf Larson. Beautiful song.
Paso to "unstoppable" by ES
Rumba to "every breath you take" but to this version. It's beautiful. http://youtu.be/1NDSP9dzk7g (It wouldn't be Len's cup of tea though). I would actually even fuse it with an AT. I have dreams of choreographing a routine to this song. I love it'

VW to Edith Piaf's Sous le Ciel de Paris.

A slow waltz to Fascination by Jane Morgan. Although I'd be sobbing by the end of it.

I think would make a good rumba Charlene Soraia - Wherever You Will Go as it's lovely.

Or someone already used it?
