"Rotterdam Or Anywhere" by The Beautiful South would make a stunning Foxtrot.

If I was picking a Kylie song I'd love to see a Vienese Waltz to Where the wild roses grow, it's such a lovely song!

Bob Seager " we've got tonight"

Jay and Aliona

Rhumba or waltz, not really sure of what makes a good dance tune
Just know I met Mr Mop slow dancing to this and it makes me feel all gooey and lovely

Ps. Sorry can't do these link things. Apparently I'm a computer Luddite!!

Runs off to CD collection to listen again

Michael Jackson's Rock With You came on the car radio yesterday and I started to think what lovely showdance music it would make for Jay & Aliona. I would love to see them do a hustle style/Saturday Night Fever vibe dance to it. I'm not saying Jay should get dressed up in the white suit, but it could be absolutely fab if done right.

I would love to see Jay and Aliona dance to one of my favorites songs ever and one of the most perfect songs for a rumba : " The look of love " by Dusty Springfield.
I'm really surprised that this song hasn't been used that much on this show. It's used all the time in professional competitions.
That song is so perfect for a rumba.

I would love to see a waltz to "If I be Wrong" by Wolf Larson. Beautiful song.
Paso to "unstoppable" by ES
Rumba to "every breath you take" but to this version. It's beautiful. http://youtu.be/1NDSP9dzk7g (It wouldn't be Len's cup of tea though). I would actually even fuse it with an AT. I have dreams of choreographing a routine to this song. I love it'”

I just wanted to say thank you Becky. That Wolf Larson song is gorgeous. This is why I get joy out of forums like this. For every bitter poster or rolling diatribe there will always be posters, opinions and recommendations that inspire me. Lovely song.

Magnificent! And yes, I don't think Day Varch and his wunnerful orchestra would be able to pull such a thing.

I'm sure Aliona is going to be more then chuffed to find out I've already choreographed her and Jay's VW to Sterophonics Song for the Summer

I like both versions personally. But I more or less agree with the rest of the post.

Another song I'd like to see used is Jennifer Lopez's 'Waiting For Tonight'. A Salsa perhaps? And again, for anyone.

If it hasn't been mentioned before, this "oldy" featured recently in the BBC drama "River," would please a lot of people.

Hard to believe Tina Charles is now sixty-one.

I would love to see someone do the rhumba to "Young Blood" by Sophie Ellis-Bextor. I can't believe they haven't already.

Also "Uptight Downtown" by La Roux for the cha-cha cha and "Song for the Summer" by Stereophonics would be great for a Viennese Waltz.

Another one from me: Codeine Velvet Club - Little Sister. I don't really know what you'd dance to it though? It's a bit jazzy and fast in parts so maybe a jive???

Sorry I don't know how to insert links!

Oh and there are some wonderful songs and pieces of music being chosen

Matt di Angelo did a gorgeous waltz to that.

Matt&Aliona did an AS to that. Less fond of it than the other Matt's waltz.

I know waht you mean, I love reading threads like this, I've discovered so much good music that way.

Oh, and another Rumba.

Dust to Dust -The Civil Wars

Seem to be in a rumba mood these days. I'll have to think of some faster music.

Thank you - I really don't know how to put links on here so it's good of you to take the time to do that .

I just checked out The Civil Wars song and I so could see a moody rumba being danced to that - it's a lovely song.

I also know what you mean about being introduced to some great music on this thread and hope it continues doing so
