Brett's "I'm gonna smash your face in"...
Could it be possible that Brett said something to Scott in the house, hence why Karren didn't mention it? Sam might've backed up Brett for hope of getting Scott fired. Brett playing the game as to avoid detection.

I was once put in front of a disciplinary by a Manager (who hated me) as she alleged I had sent her an e-mail that contained swearing.
I was commenting to my Manager about a communication from a Director who wanted the whole team to drop everything as he was bringing a (non customer) visitor around on a tour. However, our team had a massive customer presentation the next day and could not stop work on that for anything else. In the meeting, the Manager gleefully produced a printout of said e-mail, but when the HR person saw it, they pointed out that there was not actually a single swear word in it, whatsoever. The Manager had obviously read the tone (I admit it was a very assertive note) and added her own swears in her head. |
