Another Day another front page. A picture on the front page of the Express of Peter and his Partner with words "Did the BBC Fix Strictly Dance - Off for Peter ?. I don't like Peter but it is not his fault. I suspect the Producers will be desperate for him to go this week.

I wonder what paper will be late to jump on the bandwagon next.

All this controversy wouldn't be going on if so many people didn't think that Jamelia put in a better performance.

Many celebs in the TV business are in fact Limited Companies not People.
We should feel no sorrow for any such as they have opted out of such human
relationships. Is PA a limited company?

The Express?- What way have they found to link it to Diana?

In life you reap what you sow and Strictly is seen by many as being caught out in a fix on this occasion and no matter how they might try and whitewash it away the show will be tainted with Jameliagate from now on

No

All of this is getting a bit X Factor now, and I think the BBC have realised it. They don't want to go down that tacky route.

Perhaps someone should try starting a rumour that Iwan Thomas was robbed by Mr Big and Lizards and their conspiracy against Ola because they knew she was going pul out of Strictly and if it had not been for Mr Big and the Lizards he could have won? Better not, there would be someone stupid enough to believe it.

You must watch the Sky Press Preview as well because I saw that. Its certainly not going away like the BBC wish it would. It probably doesn't say anything new but they cant get way from it.

A lot of people who watched this show for years now, know what to expect in the dances. It was obvious last Saturday that jamelia was clearly the better dancer and for 3 of the judges to vote for Peter when he was clearly NOT the best dancer on the night, especially when his dance hardly resembled a jive was a Farce. That's what have so many people outraged. Most people who side with Jamelia in this debacle aren't even fan of hers . It's clear that it was a FIX !!!! I'm glad that the press isn't letting this matter go.

I think the BBC is to be commended for addressing these points, however, after just seeing Zoe's interview with Len Goodman I do wonder whether they've just added fuel to the fire really.

The questions Zoe Ball was reading out were pretty extraordinary and I'm not sure Lens answers were all that helpful....

I get the Express so will have a read tomorrow. Not expecting any more revelations. They tend to copy from other papers. As you say in your previous post, they will probably want Peter gone now as it is tainting the series. The judges have caused all this coupled with the farce of re-recording the standing ovation. They usually say any publicity is good publicity but in this case it certainly isn't.

Give the BBC credit - it's trying to face up to this.

Could you image the X-Factor answering questions like those on ITT.

Yeah, you wouldn't see this level of interactivity elsewhere...

Hopefully a line can be drawn on the media speculation soon.

But there was at least the news that from now on, judges must always give a reason for their dance-off decision. Craig did anyway last weekend, but Darcy & Bruno didn't.

I think it'll be a while before Jamelia is invited back for a guest spot on ITT

To be fair to her all she's done is mention they re-filmed the standing ovation. Sure there is implied manipulation but this is really all because the decision on Sunday seemed ridiculous.

Yeps, no amount of whitewashing now will mend people's broken trust in the show .
I was one of those who poo pooed any talk of a fix before Jameliagate .

I'm most disappointed in Craig after he said when Peter did his first Jive "It falls at the bottom of the pack of jives . Flat footed, heavy, kicks looked odd, weight in the wrong place, lack of retraction ".
Why hadn't he the courage of his convictions and send PA packing .
