And also, why is that seen as popular? Someone who has shown themselves to be nasty and petty is someone who people actually like and want to win? If she does win, then that to me, will be sending out a message that it's okay to behave like that.
I don't watch shows to see people acting like that. I watch shows to be entertained, and I'm sorry, but I don't find that entertaining the slightest. There doesn't need to be arguments and bitching in order for it to be a good show. Look at the Great British Bake Off, for example. Before anyone says it, I know that it's a different type of show, but my point is, it's an extremely popular show. It is very uplifting, positive show where all the contestants really do genuinely get on and hope each other does really well. There's no backbiting or sniping or anything like that. And the final itself was extremely uplifting. I think the vast majority who watched the final were left feeling happy. I'm not saying that IAC has to be like the Waltons or anything, but there's been past series where there's been very little nastiness and the celebrities on the whole got on with each other, and it hasn't been referred to as boring.
People say that this series would be boring without Lady C. How do we know that? We haven't had a proper chance to see that yet. Let us see more of everyone else first and then let us decide. I don't find people like Yvette and Susannah boring because I haven't seen enough of them to come to that conclusion. I find Lady C boring because I've had enough of her and I don't want to see her on the show any more. I think the show would greatly improve without her.
