Did Tony have a valid reason for not co-operating on the task?

I hope it's cost him his place in the jungle and is out first.

To give him air time as he has his tour dates lined up next year!

I don't think he needed a valid reason, so long as he had been honest and just said "Look she gets right on my tits, I'm not doing it". It was trying to pretend he was fighting the good fight that made him look like an utter numpty.

I still can't get over how he could have that attitude after he had just sent his clothes out to be laundered, seriously they should've been sent back dirty with a note saying "sorry we aren't your slaves" attached.

Yes that would have been brilliant.

A very valid reason. He lost out on that prize, and now didn't want to perform menial roles for the winners benefit. It was designed to rub his nose in it.

Last week when Eubank suggested losers of tasks should perform extra menial tasks as a punishment, everyone was up in arms and shouted him down, not least of all Lady C.

Now they see nothing wrong in expecting these menial tasks to be performed as punishment.

Hypocrisy much?

Well, I know it's a waste of a good chilli but I'm prepared to overlook that in this instance.

They could boil his pants up with the rice to give it some flavour.

Hmmm, maybe boil his knickers with some sour grapes. Certainly suits him.

It wasn't hypocrisy, what Chris suggested was additional punishment given by the campmates, this was meant to be a bit of fun suggested by the producers, and it backfired horribly.

Lesson learned, no treats at all from now on.

Yes Lady C has won them a lot of meals - but she was chosen to do the trials by the public the other camp members were never given the opportunity to even try, so it's unfair to infer that the others have done nothing to earn meals for the camp. I'm sure that quite a few of them are keen to have a go, but the idiot voters keep going for her (my votes have all gone to Tony and Kieron, so I'm trying to get someone else into the trial clearing!

When someone else has been given the opportunity to do a trial, they have all done well Ferne and Vicky did brilliantly in that truly horrible trial of theirs and Brian got all 12 stars in his. It will be interesting to see who gets the trials once the celebs get to choose themselves

I'm sure someone has pranked him and superglued his chair and he's too ashamed to say , either that or he's trying to make history as the first camp mate ever in the history of the show to put weight on while in the jungle

I've just caught up with Tuesday's programme and I have to admit I thought Tony came across as very spiteful and mean spirited. That may not have been his intention but, that's how he appeared to me. I do wonder if Kieron hit the nail on the head when he said "they might not have been fed" and Tony was hoping that was going to be the case.

Special mention to LadyC who made me laugh out loud with her "slit their throat" comment.

Maybe he just wasn't confident about how his pasty legs would look underneath a chambermaid's apron?

So why should he do a task that benefits her if he doesn't want to?
They both loathe each other anyway.”

But the task didn't just benefit her ... as far as Tony knew, his refusing to participate might have resulted in Chris and Keiron not getting any food too.

And the whole camp stood to benefit as well because he could have saved the dingo dimes by agreeing to do take part.

9 people agreed that it was OK not to do the task which is a majority albeit not unanimous but still a majority.
So 9 people agreed to forfeit any dimes they had.
