T Mobile
Got a phone (pay as you go) I think it's a Motorola bought in Argos as Xmas. Been returned once as faulty now the same fault has appeared again (I believe the phone was replaced the first time). Any ideas if I can change the phone for another type as this one is driving me nuts. Only problem is there is only an Argos store here no mobile shops at all. Any comments greatly appreciated

did u return the phone with in the 16 day money back thing they do first time round? if so thats the only reason why they replaced it.... now you only have your manufacturers warranty which you need to take up with a service centre t-moble or carphone warehouse

same thing will prob occur this time...all they are doing is using manufacturers warranty..most places do this unless its a express repair centre where they do it on the spot....all they do is repair it either way.....

http://www.dti.gov.uk/ccp/topics1/fa...legoodsact.htm Q6. Is it true that I have to complain to the manufacturer? No. You bought the goods from the trader, not the manufacturer, and the trader is liable for any breaches of contract (unless he was acting as the manufacturer's agent). |
