As any of the seven couples left could make the final, which two of their dances would you like to see done again? It can be your favourite two dances or the two dances you think could be most improved if they were done again.

Helen and Aljaz - Cha Cha Cha (with better leg action) and Foxtrot

I'd say the rule was scrapped at least 3 years ago.

Nobody else will touch a Jive with a barge pole if J&A make it to the final and the judges won't be that mean.

I would pretty much go with that, apart from Peter, I would swop one of his for a Jive, to see if he can actually do a Jive at all.

Anita and Gleb wouldn't be able to do their Paso .. unless Gleb re-choreographed it. You can't have backing dancers in the final and their dance heavily relied on them.

Kellie and Kevin: Tango and Charleston (poss QS .. not sure how much of it relied on backing dancers)
Anita and Gleb: Tango and American Smooth (or Waltz)
Helen and Aljaz: Foxtrot and Samba
Peter and Janette: None if I'm honest but .. Charleston and ... errrr ... something else
Jay and Aliona: Jive and Paso (or Waltz)

Just picking the three couples I would like to see ( and I think will be ) in the final;

1. Jay & Aliona - Jive & Salsa
2.Georgia & Giovanni - Samba ( and I'd like to see it get the 40 score it deserved first time ) and Charleston
3. Kellie & Kevin - Foxtrot & Quickstep or Samba

Georgia's samba was v good but it didn't deserve 40 imo .. as there was a great big error towards the end. If she does it again cleanly then it most definitely would deserve 40.
Jay's the one who should feel most aggrieved about not getting a 40. Nearly every man and his dog has said that his jive is the stand out dance this year. The judges had no fault to find with it .. yet only 37 and the honours of the highest score goes to Georgia with Peter holding that particular record first!!
Luckily Jay's not the kind of person to give a twonk about it .. Peter would have 'can I just say'ed about it by now.
More difficult for Jay to reproduce the quality of that jive in the final as there were no mistakes first time around. Georgia will have something to improve on.

It's got to be Jay's Jive and Anita's paso for me. Not too bothered about the others although Georgia's brilliant. Hoping Jay and Anita are both in the final.

So far, going one "ballroom" and one "latin (I'm not even dignifying "Judges Choice" by acknowledging its finale-ruining existence) :

Anita : Waltz (maybe a little less horny this time), Paso Doble
Georgia : Quickstep, Charleston
Helen : Foxtrot, Salsa
Jay : Waltz (I think he'll have better ballroom to come though), Jive

How is Anita going to be able to do her paso?

Get Pasha, Tristan, and Brenda in and strip them all to the waist.

I forgot about that 'whoops' at the end of GGs Samba. She was so technically stunning it kind of got swept under the carpet in my head.
Yes, you're absolutely right about Jay's Jive. It was as perfect as it could be and deserved 40.
As for PA giving it " can I just say.." if it had been him even in a parallel universe in the far-reaching realms of another galaxy, Andre could never do a 40 dance ( not one that actually deserved 40 anyway but who knows with the four stooges presiding )
