firstly hello, just a newby on forum and hello everyone!!! Obvs been reading previous posts but IMO:- judging on the celebs
1. Peter - not good for a lot of dances (he will be out soon) I hear you cheer!!!!!
2. Katie - think she is actually dances better than Anton (not a fan of Anton, tho glad he has a chance to shine, but find him boring)
3.Helen - great dancer but fear her bottle would go if she got to the final, so fragile
4. Kellie - shame she always gets rubbish dresses, she is a good wee dancer tho, and she has all the Cliftons behind her!!!!
5. Jay - loved the Jive, but he is a bit mmmm hit n miss? No personality, that crack about baby dancing along to him on IT2 - yuk
6. Georgia - top but they keep mentioning her mistakes but still give her 10's ???
7. Anita - think she is fab, so sorry to hear all the comments that it all about Gleb, and tho wont disagree that he is very handsome, think he definately brings out the best in her and they are the one couple that I look forward to seeing each Saturday

BIB - Totally agree that she does seem to get the lions share of ugly sacks disguised as dresses - the one at Blackpool was horrible

I love Anita's dancing too. She's my winner whether she gets to the final or not.

Otherwise an interesting viewpoint.

IMO Anita & Georgia for the final. Both dance with conviction, have enjoyed all their dances.

Point 2 - no she's not. He may be irritating, but he can dance (when he can be bothered.)

Point 3 - don't think Helen will make the final, sadly (I think she's lovely.) First time she's in a DO it will be meltdown!

Point 5 - ooh you are brave! His fans are legion! (You're right tho')

BIB I am a Jay fan but I actually do agree with the OP - Jay can be very hit and miss, nothing brave about stating the obvious! a hit being his jive and miss being his quickstep and foxtrot and both Aliona and Jay themselves have said they never know how the dance is going to go

I don't just think it's a question of whether or not he makes mistakes though. The thread listing favourite performance for each dance was interesting for me - although I highly rate Jay's ability, I realised I could barely remember any of his dances except the jive (for all the right reasons) and the QS (for all the wrong). For all the Anton bashing, several of his choreographies for Katie have been exquisite (VW and Tango) or very good for her (Rumba and AS) and Gleb (whose choreographies you either love or hate has also created highly memorable dances for Anita. With the exception of Peter, Katie and Anita are the weaker dancers but their performances are standing out for a lot of people.

yes, very true - I guess it depends who you like, who you pay attention to when they are dancing

Personally I cant remember any of Helen and Aljaz's dances apart from the mummy one or Peter and Janettes apart from the jive from last week

dancing is all very subjective really and down to personal taste
