Peter Andre in the dance-off

Now there was a lot of talk about the dance-off this week! Unfortunately it was Peter’s weakest dance and probably Jamelia’s best. I personally know that Peter was extremely busy that week with his other commitments. He had four hours to produce that dance which wasn’t ideal at all, especially for Blackpool!

Nice to see he is very committed to Strictly.....

The way he has been over scored throughout the competition suggests to me that he could have had 4 minutes to produce that 'jive' and still have been awarded 2 x 8

A whole week, and you can only apparently manage 4 hours. I wonder why Kristina said this, hasn't been mentioned before...........

He was busy promoting chicken tikka lasange and Canadian lobster for £4.99 for Iceland last week. Contractural obligations and all that.

I am quoting myself from another thread but am asking here too.

Whilst obviously work commitments can arise, four hours for the fee being paid to PA is, imho, extracting the proverbial.

on ITT in previous years ,they used to say how many hours of training each couple did each week ,

4 hours can that verified as that is not a lot

I hate to sound harsh but I dont have too much tolerance or sympathy for contestants who cant put the time in to train and then complain after when their dance is sub-par (although to Peter's credit he didnt mention it; Kristina did ) You signed up to do the show, you should know or at least have an idea of the time you have to put in.
I didnt even know that Kellie and Kevin didnt even that much time to train until she said last week on ITT that they were going to have full days of training FOR ONCE ; and Kevin got sick.
What was he doing I know work commitmemnts but 4 hours/week or per day . Either way, that's not a lot. And to think they are couples who train at least 10 or 14 hours/day.

Lol if Kristina thought that she was helping him by mentioning it , she didn't, I'm afraid.

I just thought it's kind of adding fuel to the fire so to speak.......

I wonder why Peter didn't use it as a 'excuse', of why his attempt at a 'jive' was so awful.

I don't have any sympathy for the celeb, but I have a bucket load of sympathy for the pro.

I really feel for Janette - I said as soon as I watched that jive that I doubted Peter had trained much (his twitter feed said it all about how many other things he was doing), so Kristina's blog didn't come as a shock to me at all, though I was appalled at how few hours he had done! It must have been so frustrating, disheartening and to a certain extent embarassing for Janette to have to go out and do a dance that her celeb had only committed 4 hours to. Peter should be very ashamed of himself.

And anyone who's posted any vitriolic comments about or to Janette should be equally ashamed.

By the looks of it, this week may not have been much better - Janette's recent posts on her twitter feed have been far more downcast than she usually is - I wouldn't blame her at all if she's getting thoroughly fed up and disheartened.

Remember when Louisa did a jive on 4 hours training...

Perhaps the judges thought it was worth keeping a guy who can produce a mediocre Jive after only 4 hours training?

That is pathetic. My gut feeling is that Kristina feels Jamelia was robbed reading that... notice how she says how sorry she feels for Janette, but doesn't really mention Peter.

I do 100% agree with her that online abuse is NOT cool, and especially not aiming it at the pro dancers - they are all brilliant really, even the ones I'm not keen on are massively talented and hardworking, and make the series what it is.

4 hours though - OK I know people can't neglect other, longer term work, but that seriously is taking the mick. Frankly I think its insulting to the viewers, his fans, and most of all to Janette.

I'm also pleased she clarified that story about Len, he's gone up in my estimation a bit for calling her up to set the record straight.

Presumably because the obvious response is "what the hell are the BBC paying you to do then?"

That explains a lot. Is that why they put him through, on the basis that he did four hours but Jamelia had a whole week?
Perhaps that's how they should mark driving-tests ... yeah, he drove into a bus, but he's only had one lesson, so I say "Pass"

What he produced didn't even remotely looked like a jive though.

I just finished reading Kristina's blog. I always appreciate her input and I like reading blog .She is so lovely; always defending her fellow pros (Ola, now Janette...) when she doesn't have to and once again I dont understand why she get so much crap as well; although it has tone down quite a bit.

Yeah. I didn't really have a higher point other than that the comparison was funny.
